Calling all WAR members!
So due to the group growing we are starting to get a little swamped with things! So we are in search of a few faces to join our team! There are specific roles we are searching for and while I would prefer past experience it is not needed. Just please make sure you read the following info before applying.


First and foremost You must have a discord. All of our claims, lists, etc are on discord!

2 activity rollers

Responsibilities.
Mods
Mods will be in charge of keeping everything personable and on topic in the fanclub, main thread, etc.
they will have the authority to give out warnings and if anything gets worse they will come to me with bans.
They are the watchful eyes, looking for art theft, bullying, cheating, etc

Activity rollers
These guys are in charge of rolling the activites.
They will use the site given for rolling

So what do you get for being one of them?
Sadly not much. But each month instead of paying for your custom you will receive a free one.

Why do you want the position: I want to be involved in WAR in some way because it’s such a wonderful adoptable and I’d love to be sure that activities are rolled every day because I know the impatience one can get from waiting several days to see what they get. It seems like a fun job and it’s another way to get involved in the community I think ! I just want to help keep things rolling smoothly.
How often are you online: At LEAST 5 hours a day, usually more.
Have you ever done anything like this before: Yes! I used to be in the staff team for the ARPG Felvargs over on DA and while I didn’t directly do activity rolling I talked with the staff a lot about it while doing my own duties (which was import updates and whatnot, but I also occasionally rolled items for level ups.)

How often are you online: Pretty much always online lurking, though availability for rolling can be limited. Usually 7am-7pm Friday-Monday plus 7am-11am on Tuesdays. Can also chuck a bit in on Wednesdays and Thursdays but those are the most reliable times.

Why do you want the position: honestly I just love to help people out wherever I can. I’m also loving warrens across regions and would love to help out with improving it small ways at a time to overall make it an even better experience for everyone in it!
How often are you online: a lot of the time. I often don’t really have much do do a spend the whole day doing something or another online. I do stay up kind of late so I’m more active later and sleeping in the mornings. I live in central standard time.
Have you ever done anything like this before: I’ve been an artist for multiple species on and offsite where the artists also take a part a mods. I also just in general try to help out where I can.

If anything comes up I’ll try my best to calmly handle it without hurting anyone’s feelings. I’m usually alright at this and have been in a few situations like this on discord, most of them involved the other person being super wrong about something causing them to complain then I try to step in to politely explain. I do want to be completely honest here are say that when this sometimes goes on for a while before it’s resolved, afterwards I’ll go offline for an hour or so due to my anxiety.

And if anyone has questions about CS or WAR I’ll answer them as clearly as I can but only if I know the answer. I haven’t read or watched watership down so I’ll stay away from questions concerning terms and such, unless I’ve seen someone else answer them before then i might quote them if no one else who knows the answer is online.

Why do you want the position: I love helping out with adoptables of all shapes and sizes, though usually it’s either as an artist or really behind the scenes to help the general operating go smoothly over. Mostly, for wanting this position, I really want a reason to look over everyone’s activities, as I’ll do it anyways because I’m a lover of all things written and drawn with dedication for your own characters. I find it so fascinating to see what others do with their characters and adore being able to see the development work put in for the really beloved ones.
How often are you online: More often than not, every day periodically. I have people to check in on and other adopts to help run, so I’m sure to be on at least once almost every 3 hours, though it is often not for more than 10 minutes as there never is truly too much to keep me here any longer. However I easily can come on for any reason at most any time, my schedule is pretty darn flexible. A lot of my time online is during the night, especially if I’m posting writing. I’m EST, if anyone is curious.
Have you ever done anything like this before: Absolutely. For many adopts, for many reasons.
If yes, please include links: Unfortunately, as I put above a lot of my work entirely was behind the scenes, so there is little if any record of me actually preforming the tasks. If I do happen across a link, I’ll definitely drop it. Most adopts I worked for in the past are closed and revamped or that sort. If it’s anything you would like to follow up on, I do have 2 people who will give their testament of me doing such activities, you’re absolutely free to pm them; HowlingHooves who is on generally the same amount I am, but she does have her own life complete with a family and a job, but she will grant a response rather soon after receiving I guarantee; and chemical. it’s been quite a minute since I’ve spoken to her, as she is always frantically busy and forgetful but she should respond at a point, though she will take much longer to do so. I can probably grab their discord ids too, but it’ll have to wait for several hours, I’ll edit this post with them if I ever get around to it, haha!!

Why do you want the position: I have always loved being a moderator and pride myself for a friendly exterior. In my extended experience in this position, I have met many new people in the species I work for and the cs community as a whole. Not to mention the WAR arpg is such a lovely and well thought out species. The lineart is absolutely stunning and the whole idea is so original. Already I have met many new people in the community and would love to offer my help wherever it is needed.
How often are you online: Usually around 6-7 hours a day, although it varies during the week. Weekends are usually pretty much the same.
Have you ever done anything like this before: I have held many moderating positions in the past. There is one species which I am no longer working for, for reasons I will not name. It was of my own choice, and if you wish to pm me to hear the reason I will of course tell you <3. Then I run Napacello Warmbloods. This species owner has since seemingly left cs and so all ownership duties have fallen on me. Lastly, I am currently (and actively) working for Buttermilk’s. This is a position I enjoy very much.
My past moderating experience has taught me much. Between running an event on my own with only one active artist to my amazing coworkers at buttermilk’s, moderating has allowed me to delve deep in each species and make an impact. The communities are always so sweet and welcoming, which I always appreciate, but not only that, the species I have worked for have become very near and dear to my heart. It’s not always easy, but I want to make just as much an impact for WAR as it has brought me joy so far!

Why do you want the position: To a lot of people, including myself, Warrens Across the Regions has become this huge enjoyment in the most concise amount of time. I'm very glad to see the community grow and grow as each day passes. The base of the WAR community is outstandingly harmonic, and every single interaction I've had with everybody in the discord has been especially cordial. It is my wish for this to always be the way things are among my fellow members. To be hired as a moderator for WAR would be my highest honor, as I would like to do my part in benefiting the ever-growing community, and lending a hand to keep this ARPG a safe and cherished spot on both CS and discord.
How often are you online: Frequently throughout the day, especially on CS. If I had to estimate, about 3-4 hours each day, and up to 5 or 6 hours per day on weekends. I've not much else to do for enjoyment, I admit, it's unhealthy, but I just love CS! My main messenger to use is also discord, so as you can imagine I check in there quite a lot, too.
Have you ever done anything like this before: I have not been a moderator for a species as of yet; however, this does not intimidate me. I am well aware that being any member of staff for an adoptable, be it widely known, or not, has its responsibilities which can of course be overwhelming. But in the end I like to believe, no matter the case, the benefits of hard work and perseverance always outweigh the hardships faced. Upon being hired, I feel that I could definitely learn about managing my time and priorities, and having a positive attitude and coordination with other members of the community and staff.

Thanks for the huge opportunity and wonderful ARPG, I look forward to seeing how it will continue to improve.
