prompt [700 word limit]: Hello Devon or Fang im a reporter and I've heard that you are a one of a kind Kalon and have a very unique story and I was wondering if you would be willing to tell me a little bit about yourselves? Well I sure do have a story to tell and I honestly don't think you will believe me but here goes nothing by the way its is currently Devon talking Fang is sleeping because its day so its my turn to be in charge you see I have two different personality's or at least I think that's what I should call Fang But truth be told he's more like the brother I never had. Its been Fang and I for as long as I can remember I cant think of a time when he's not been in my head or I guess our head. Anyway I like to think that I am the calmer one out of both of us but I have a feeling Fang would disagree you see I tend to let my emotions get the better of me at times I can be super emotional especially when others make fun of Fang I am really protective of him and he of me. Oh hold on a second I think Fang wants to talk. Devon's eyes glaze over and you can see a change come over him the way he stands his eyes and his very presence. He suddenly bows and takes my hand kissing the top of it he looks up at me his eyes sparkling with delight and introduces himself. Hello he said my name is Fang I heard you already met my brother. There's something about him you can tell that this guy is completely different to his brother he is a clear flirt and is super full of himself but I cant help but feel attracted to him. Anyway said Fang im here to tell you about myself as my brother said normally I only take control during the night but I figured this was a special occasion and I made sure to ask Devon if I could take over early. As he said Devon is the quite and more reserved one and im the more wild side I love to spend the nights partying and enjoying myself its not like I need to sleep anyways I spend the day sleeping so during the night im free to do whatever I want whenever I want. What's your relationship with Devon, like Fang? I love Devon with all of our shared heart but he can be kind of a wimp a lot of the time if he gets in fights I will jump in and take over although I don't think he's ever really noticed and I just don't want to see him get hurt. Oh Oh you wanna see something cool we can do? Of course Fang, so what is it you want to show me? Ok just give us a second miss reporter. I once again see his eyes glaze over then one of his eyes turn a lighter colour than Fangs that's when I knew that Devon was back but when I looked at the other eye it was Fangs colour it then dawned on me that both of them could be in the body at the same time I took a step back in shock not believing what had just happened right before my eyes. And then they started talking it was weird there voices were the same yet different it was like they were one person but the two different people that I have come to know over the course of this interview. Wow was the only thing I could come up with. Im sorry they said but I cant stay like this for long it gives us a headache I could than see there eyes clouding over and the lighter colour of Devon coming back. Well I hope we answered all your questions. I cant thank you enough Devon and Fang for allowing me to interview you, You guys have given me a career defining story and for that I cant thank you enough so thank you.

If you would've asked me about seven years ago what my wild side was, I would've given you a grin and said, "I go to parties, I hop around, I dance until my legs give out." However, it´s all different now. When the virus broke out, it destroyed everything I had ever loved. My family home, my town, my country. The places where I used to go weren't safe anymore. We were forced to run, to hide. I couldn't dance, for fear that they would catch me. The world was growing dim, as were those who lived within the midst of it all. Scientists rushing to find a cure, others seeking help from an otherwise grim fate. I pushed through. I survived. Until the day I didn't. We call them the infected. Those of Kalon-kind who had fallen victim to the virus of the brain. You eventually don't know who you are, you aren't in control of yourself. I had been wandering the alleyways, looking for a safe spot to take shelter for the night when one of them jumped me. From that night on, I was changed. I had bouts of rage and uncontrollable anger. Never in my life had I felt more vulnerable then I had that night. It was a journey. Keeping myself under control, focusing on surviving for the time that I had. I gathered the supplies I needed, hunting down the object that I needed to keep myself alive. That's when I found her. Bennet was her name. A small kit, no older than twelve years of age, dirty, hungry, and cold. I took her under my wing. Together we made our team. It was her and I against the world, avoiding the infected and taking what we needed. She never noticed anything different about me. She saw me as a person, looked past my unfortunate and eventual fate but, even Bennet was witness to my spouts of anger backing away as far as she could. Eventually I would turn. So I became a scout, taking shifts in the dead of night to keep a lookout over the hideout that Bennet and I had called home. I saved so many Kalons. I've killed so many others. Our numbers started to grow, and I felt like I couldn't contain myself any longer. It was waiting. The virus within me waiting for it's perfect chance to take over and make sure I was a danger to the rest. I stayed away from the group for days, keeping myself locked away, attempting to hone the virus in and use it to my advantage. To control the times I felt the anger come in waves and harness it while my mind slipped away. it took days, but I eventually had it tamed. I knew when to let go and let it take over, and when to reel my mind back into it's normal state. I myself believe I'm able to do this because of my will to survive. Most give up when they become infected, while others find out ways to harness the energy. Scouting and interacting with the other members became easier after that. I knew when to use my new strange form of powers. When the lonely nights set in, I was able to walk among the infected, see their point of view. While it scared me at first, I was able to understand. We live in a crazy and messed up world. We have a balance here on earth now. Those who fight to survive and those who survive to fight. I use my powers, my two different sides, to understand this balance. To keep those who I love safe. To keep those who harm, out. My name is Lee Bracken. Now you know my story. Relationships:

Bennet - Lee's essential daughter. Lee found her, alone after a raid without her parents. He took her in, despite the risk that he might turn her. Lee was the one who taught Bennet everything she knows, and supports her every step. When Lee isn't out scouting you can often find him and Bennet hanging out on the roof of the hideout, looking at the stars. Lee loves to tell Bennet all about when he was a kit and the kinds of things he went though back before the virus spread.

Cream- As the group's main healer, Lee gets along with Cream pretty well. She's sweet and caring which are two qualities that Lee really admires. He's also got a close eye on her because of the romantic tension between her and Bennet. Lee has that 'overprotective dad mode'. He loves coming to talk to Cream for the little things when Bennet is taking care of the bigger issues in the hideout. Honestly one of his favorite people.

Ash- Ash is the main weapons guy within the hideout. Lee goes to Ash whenever his little knife isn't doing too good. Lee was weary of Ash when he first met him and he had a serious talk with Bennet before they allowed both Ash and Cream into the hideout. Although Ash can be a bit mouthy towards Lee, it's mostly all fun and games. Lee still values Ash as a part of the team and is grateful for the help.

Nova (Currently up for readopt. Thanks to Doglady for letting me borrow her <3. Lee is also apart of her re-adoption forum I'm doing.)- Lee's partner in crime. Nova is the second scout within the group. Lee loves her, a lot. The two of them have each other's backs for whatever they do. Nova's got a daughter to take care of and Lee understands that more than anything, especially having practically raised Bennet. Raising a child in the midst of the apocalypse can be challenging so Lee's there to help. He talks to Nova while they're on their scouting missions about times when things were simpler.

Fun Facts:

- Lee's name is based off of Lee Everett from The Walking Dead
-The apocalypse AU that all these characters are apart of were inspired by Resident Evil, The Walking Dead game, and The Last Of Us.
-Lee has named his other side, the side that the virus controls. Her name is Matilda :')
-I really wanna low-key name a kid of his Clementine for the feels and the memes <3
-I've never seen a blood moon.
