Actually planning on making Harley into a fursuit sometime this year. I've got quite the task ahead of me with all of those little markings though! Not to mention it'll be my first fursuit. .>. at least I'll have someone helping me

How do people do paws? Especially with paw pads? They're the one thing I struggle with too much, ;v;

hey all! I figured I'd join since I just got my first fursuit in the mail today (:

does anyone have any suggestions on how to start attending events even if you have severe anxiety? I'd LOVE to go and meet other fursuiters, but my anxiety can make me physically ill and I'm worried that I might not fair well and would end up scared / panicked from attending the events that I want to go to, especially with the limited vision that my suit causes 0:

Fave thing about the Fandom: I love the creative aspect of the fandom the most. whether it's through the physical arts and crafts, acting, singing, djing, dancing, or video-making, it feels very heavily based on the arts compared to other fandoms. I'm so glad to have finally found my place in the world through my art and I definitely fit right in within this community <3

First of all, I just want to say you have an adorable suit <3 Secondly, I have severe social anxiety myself and I have some tips that might help. I've been to 10 fur cons and 1 bowling meet so far, the biggest issues I personally had were from being out of state(unfamiliar territory and away from my family).

- If you have a friend that can go with you, even for just a bit, I think it would help. My sister is a furry as well and it's helped me so much to have someone there with me.
- Take breaks from the con if it gets too much. Chill in your hotel room or explore attractions in the area.
- Don't want to interact with a lot of people but still want to do something fun at a con? Panels are your friend, look for concerts, comedy shows, dance comps, etc. where you can sit back and watch.
- Have a back-up plan in case your anxiety spikes. It can happen, it has twice with me, and its best to be prepared.
- Quite a few furries suffer from anxiety and/or other mental illnesses, it's not unusual for there to be a discussion panel for it if you think it may help.

Fave thing about the Fandom: Definitely the creative aspects, I l o v e character design and collecting art of my chars so fursuits to me are just a really great 3D extension to that

Fave thing about the Fandom: The sense of community! In other fandoms its just like, 'Oh, you like this too? Uh... hi' but in the Furry fandom it feels like everyone knows each other and it's great.

Uh so guys I had a weird idea. I want to make my first full suit and I had a completely crazy idea so bear with me

So I’m genderfluid and thought what if I made a genderfluid suit?

Like I make magnetic eyelashes to make it more feminine, and maybe make the chest stuffable with a zipper on the inside? I can’t draw it out atm since I can barely function lol my blood sugar is low.

Anyway if people would support this or give advice/ideas or anything that would be awesome. I feel like this is something that hasn’t been done so I'd love to execute this! Anyway obviously this would be toony so don’t worry about realism or anything. Thanks again my fellows in this community <3

I’ve made about 4-6 heads and have had experience in making wumbsies (can’t spell). I know how to pattern and sew efficiently and I can easily make a duct tape dummy in my opinion. So my experience is pretty decent
