# of the Pup You want: Number three ^^
Name: Eudora [A ancient greek name that means "good gift"]
Gender: Female
Why are you Adopting?: I first saw these when scrolling through the Oekaki boards and saw a drawing of Neara's. It was a majestic looking armored wolf with gold, white, and black fur. I looked further into this, and discovered that that was one of the several Warriors of Isket. At the time I didn't know it was possible to get one of these beautiful pups, but now that I know, I'd kill to get one. This particular one caught my eye right away. Her light fur and almost playfully calm expression stood out among the others. If there's any one of these beauties I could see myself having, she is the one.

A warrior. Eudora wanted to rise up among the ranks and be a respected warrior, but here she was in the belly of the beast being taught how to battle. The ground was soft and muddy from the previous night's rain, and it squelched under the pup's clean white paws. Her mentor was one she disliked. A bitter old wolf who snapped and yelled at the slightest mistake.
"Faster! How do you ever expect to defend yourself if you move like a slug?" She growled angrily at the lingering pup who was facing off against a denmate.
Eudora's pelt burned with rage. How could she be criticized for thinking out her actions? She snarled at her opponent, and suddenly lunged. The wolves young bodies smashed together roughly, bringing them both to te ground. Eudora's denmate was slow rising to his feet, and she took advantage of the momentary weakness. She pinned his shoulders to the ground forcefully and placed her teeth gently over his throat, but with enough force for him to know the obvious.
"Dead" Eudora said in a muffled voice, then stepped off of him with a sly grin. She looked to her mentor for approval, and was only met with a furious gaze.
The old wolf rounded on her "It was good, but not good enough. You just as easily could have knocked yourself out. You need to work on your technique." she said irritatedly, then stopped, thinking "I want you and Abel to go on your final mission. To becoming members of this pack"
Eudora's eyes widened. A full member? Already? No.. it couldn't be. Most pups trained for ever a year. But her mind wanted to believe what she knew was a lie, and she listened closely.
"You two are to travel west, to a great pack of wolves in the valley of Isket. I want you each to bring back a mouthful of the blue grass that grows there. If you can do this, you will be made members"
Abel looked to Eudora, his eyes sparkling. The lightly colored female looked west, considering. Without a word to her mentor, she began walking in that direction. Abel followed closely after.
2 Days LaterThe two pups travelled swiftly, only stopping for food and occasional rest. They had reached the edge of the valley when a chilling screeching sound reached their ears. Eudora looked in the direction of the sound, caught off guard, and saw a terrifying beast approaching. It looked like a mixture of a horse and some sort of reptile. It snapped and snarled as it charged in their direction. The fierce glint in it's eye is what let Eudora's feet finally move. She sprang in the opposite direction of the creature and sprinted away, her slender body moving quickly. The pup made it to a abandoned rabbit hole, and forced herself into it.
But the beast was no longer persuing her. She had forgotten about her companion in the dreadful terror of things. The monster had not reached him yet, but it was close. Abel ran clumsily in her direction, but he didn't have a chance. He was snapped up in the creature's fierce jaws before she could move to help. Eudora looked away as it tore her denmate to shreds.
Eudora waited until the cover of night to slip out of the den. The beast, whatever it was, had been satisfied with the gore of her friend, and left. She fled towards the west, still determined to complete her task. It wasn't until she reached the armored wolves that she realized she'd been weeping the whole way.
They were frightening at first, but quickly understood that she was not a threat to them. They were normal wolves, but sported amazing armors that glinted in the moonlight. The ones who found her brought her to what she assumed was the leader. She learned that his name was Rayo, and she had met some of the Warriors of Isket. She remained stony during their conversation.
Eudora told him her story. The mission, the monster who'd discovered them, and even Abel's death. She could not read Rayo's expression, but felt faint when he suggested he stay with the pack, at least for a little while. She had never been away from home long, but suddenly longed to be. At home, she was the odd pup. Oddly colored, oddly strong. Maybe she belonged here. Hesitantly, she accepted.
A Year LaterEudora flourished. Shortly after agreeing to stay, she decided this was the place she wanted to spent her life. She was given a mentor. One who was patient and kind, yet strong in training. Soon came the day she longed for. The day she'd become a warrior. The day she recieved her armor. The material was a light, shining aluminum that was speckled with bright green gems. The subtle spikes gave her a fierce feeling. When she wore that armor, she was powerful. She was beautiful, and strong, and everything she never could have been in her old world. This was where she belonged. As a Warrior of Isket
