Lightheart stretched out her leg with a wince. “Thank you all for helping me. Not many cats would.” She said, smiling gratefully.

"Your welcome, but it's really no trouble!" Chickenpoppy said, beginning to rub the poultice on gently.

Lightheart smiled and relaxed as Chickenpoppy tended to her burns. It tingled a bit but the poultice was cool and soothing on her raw skin.
“It’s already feeling better, thank you.”

It didn't take him too long to finish, and soon he sat up, rubbing the remains off his paws in the snow. "That should do it... well, I think we should bring you to camp. Can you walk a bit longer?"

“Thank you.” She said. At his words Lightheart blinked in surprise. “That’s not necessary. I’ll be fine on my own.” She insisted, getting to her feet. These cats had already done enough for her in her opinion. And to invite her back seemed like too much. “You’ve done enough for me already.”
She added.

"Oh." Chickenpoopy mewed in surprise, already thinking it was sorta understood she'd come back with them. "Well then, uh."

He looked to the others, and Nimblestar suggested in a low voice. "If she really insists on not staying in camp, she'd still need somewhere to rest. I know a few caves by the coast, but it can be a bit cold."

"You could always just stay in camp for the night? I don't think anyone would mind, and you might need more herbs later." Chickenpoppy suggested a bit worriedly, already invested in the idea of caring for this new patient.

Lightheart blinked, touched by Chickenpoppy’s concern. She smiled and nodded. “Ok. I’ll come to your camp. You’re right about me possibly needing another dose. Thank you for letting me stay.” She said, seeing his logic. And she wasn’t keen on sleeping in a cold cave.

"Good!" Chickenpoppy squeaked excitedly.

"I should probably head back and inform the others you'll be staying in camp- and yes, I'll pick up those herbs you found earlier, don't worry." Blizzardstripe meowed, jumping to his feet and adding the last part as he noticed Chickenpoppy was opening his mouth.

"I'll go with Chicken and... Lightheart, yeah?" Nimblestar mewed, already on his paws as well. He was itching to lay down in his nest in camp.

Lightheart smiled and stretched. The idea of sleeping somewhere warm sent exhaustion through her limbs. She blinked tiredly, barely noticing Blizzardstripe’s departure.
“Shall we get going?” She asked.

The two nodded and began to lead her on yet another trek through the snow, Chickenpoppy carrying the rest of the herbs and running ahead while Nimblesar walked beside Lightheart.
