you take nebbs with you back to the mountains, and she spends most of the time showing you the various locations that she once visited. at one of the locations, a small cave under a sharp cliff, she darts inside and disappears within the darkness. a minute or so later, she comes back with a berry and some ss.

you venture out into the thicket alone, slowly taking in the strange environment. you're inspecting a particularly strange plant from several feet away, when a pupip suddenly pops out of the grass and chomps down on it. within seconds, it's completely eaten. after its snack, it looks up at you curiously. if you would like to keep your new creature, then give it a name and gender.

while you're exploring boxbell thicket, you come to a particularly dense section of trees. eventually, it becomes so dense and full of tangled thorns, that you're unable to go on. up ahead, a sharp squeak catches your attention. a pupip is stuck in the thorns! it takes awhile to finally reach it and carefully free it from its entanglement. afterwards, it seems grateful and wants to stick around. if you would like to keep your new creature, then give it a name and gender.

you head over to the shores, eventually making your way all the way to the tide pools. in one of the pools of water, you spot some fishing line. collecting it to properly dispose of it, you find a small aifin is tangled within it. if you would like to keep your new creature, then give it a name and gender.

you head out to the thicket and quickly realize that you've got a critter following you. before you can properly look at it, it darts away, only leaving flashes of blue and orange. cautiously, you continue, and eventually you're able to catch a proper look of the pupip that's trailing you. slowly, you're able to gain a little of their trust. if you would like to keep your new creature, then give it a name and gender.

as you're exploring the thicket, you spot an unusual blue item high up in a tree. there's no low branches to climb, and nothing is long enough to reach it. you're deciding what to do when a filick pops its head around from the leaves, smacking the item with its tail and causing it to fall down to you. it turns out to just be trash, but now you've got the creature interested in you. if you would like to keep your new creature, then give it a name and gender.

you take conilla out with you to the thicket, and she seems excited to explore with you. the two of you make it to the river that bisects the forest, and your pupip seems to have her attention focused on something on the other side. she bounds into the water, but is quickly carried away by the current. she's carries out of view and you start to worry, but she soon returns on the opposite shore, some ss and a fern in her mouth.

you head to the mountains, picking your way through the thickest section of trees. after what seems like forever, it finally opens up to display a sharp overhang. carefully, you approach it, and when you turn to leave you realize you've been trapped by an aggressive looking torrin. you freeze, but the creature then rolls over onto its back and lets out a noise that sounds something similar to a purr. if you would like to keep your new creature, then give it a name and gender.

you and flare head out to the thicket, and he quickly becomes fixated on one stick in particular. he carries it in his mouth as you two explore, never allowing you too close to it. when he finally does, you realize the stick had once been part of the ss plant, and still has several stars attached.

while exploring boxbell with peach, you come to a section clear of trees and full of small holes. they appear to have been dug by some creature. the pupip runs between each hole, digging slightly within each one, then finally pulling out some ss and a berry. how strange.

you and bear head up one of the many hiking trails at bearpass. eventually, the two of you stray from the path and come to a small stream, trailing over various rocks. you follow it for several minutes, bear splashing through the shallow water, and find some ss and an egg.

as you and splat arrive at the shores, is a hell of a lot windier than it's ever been. it's difficult to see a few yards ahead, the airborne sand biting painfully into your skin. splat climbs your legs and hides in the safety of your jacket. you see some ss and an egg being blown around in the winds. it takes some chasing down, but you finally collect them and flee the wind.

you take cotton out to the shores, making your way along the beach and to the tide pools. the myrdo jumps into one, splashing you in the process. you try to dry your clothes off, moving to check out some of the other small pools. you find some ss while cotton continues to splash around.

you and graxol arrive at the shores, and he seems frightened of the advancing waves. you walk further up on the shore, stopping to investigate a weird looking shell. graxol suddenly jumps and flees, and you soon see why. a sealkinn is running towards you, looking pretty excited. if you would like to keep your new creature, then give it a name and gender.

out in the thicket, you stop to take a break in a small clearing, taking a moment to lay back and look towards the sky. after a few minutes, the face of a pupip suddenly covers your vision, causing you to emit a shocked noise. it mimics this noise, backing up and bounding around you in excitement. if you would like to keep your new creature, then give it a name and gender.
