Information On Species-
Description:
Dracal's are a combination of a jackal, and a dragon.
If you will notice their tails, some are born with one or more long tails, and some are born with one or more short tails. You can determine rarity by the number and size of a dracal's tail{s}.
Rarity Rank-
1 Long/Short Tail- common
2 Long/Short Tails- uncommon
3+ Long Tails- uncommon
Mix of Long And Short Tails- uncommon
3+ Short Tails- rare
NO Tail- very rare
A dracal's tail is his/her pride. They serve the use of attracting mates, determining rarity, cooling off, and sometimes carrying things. Along the ridge of a dracal's back, there is tuft of fur that grows, then shrinks as it goes along the dracal's back. They have jackal ears, which are almost always pulled back. Their paws and legs are that of a jackal's, the front are a bit shorter than the hind legs. With their milky dragon-like eyes, furry face, and a medium length snout, they have a lovable yet bold face.
Temperment/Eating Habits:
The temperment depends on the dracal. Some are very sweet and shy, others are bold and aggressive. But all are intellegent. Their noses are quite often where you don't want them to be, considering their curiousity. You'll find that your dracal is comfortable with or without a companion. Don't make a dracal angry. They can exhale a toxic gas when they are angry or frightened in order to keep enemies at bay. Though the gas is not fatal, it is very, VERY potent and doesn't smell too great either, and even though it won't knock out a human, it will certaintly give them a migraine. Dracal's can snort, chuckle, huff, bark, whine, and sometimes roar.
Dracal's are omnivores. They're like toddlers in the way that they eat- picky. They prefer only the sweetest fruit, the richest meat, etc. Though they will settle with what you have if nothing else is available.

F&Q!
What do I do if I want to get a retired adoptable?
The only way to get a past adoptable is if there is one in the Pound, or if you are willing to trade one of your adoptables for someone else's adoptable.
How do dracals end up in the pound?
Well if an owner wants to adopt a new adoptable, but they have already adopted 3, they will give me the adoptable they no longer want for me to put into the pound. Or, if someone wants to order a new custom but they have already ordered 4 customs, they will give me the custom they no longer want and I will put it in the pound for someone else to adopt.
Can you tell us the rarity of a current adoptable?
If you read the description of the species, it tells you how to find the rarity of an adoptable. Most often though, you will only see commons and sometimes uncommons. If you see a rare or very rare, you want to get it fast!
Can I deside the rarity of my custom?
Yes and no. You aren't aloud to ask for a pet with no tail, or 3 or more short tails. The only way to get rares and very rares is during special events, or if you see them up for adoption or in the pound.
Can we interact with our dracals?
Yes. You will have to rp it though. It's fine if you rp with your dracals on this thread, as long as you are not spamming. When rping, try to include more than five words.
Do dracals grow?
Occassionaly. When you breed dracals, the pups will start out in egg form. After a few interactions, they will grow into a pup. With more interaction, they will grow into full grown dracals.
What if I want to keep all of my dracal's offspring?
I'm sorry but you can't. Each owner of the dracal's that were bred get to pick one pup from the litter that they want to keep. The rest are put into the adoptions. If there is only one offspring, you and the owner of the dracal that your dracal bred with will have to deside who keeps it. Remember, you can always breed again!
What happens to the dracals that aren't adopted?
I hope it doesn't happen often! The dracals that aren't adopted will be put into the pound and stay there until someone adopts them.
Are we aloud to write stories about our dracals?
Yep! I'd love to read them. Please post the link to your story here if you make one.
Can we use our dracals as charecters?
Customs, yes. Adoptables, no. You can use your own custom as a charecter, but the adoptables can't be your charries, fursona's, etc. Feel free to use your dracal for rp's and such, just try to give a link back to here.
Why are some dracal's different sizes?
Because I'm too lazy to get them all exactly the same size. And it gives the dracal's variety.
Do you, Obli, bite?
Occasionaly. But don't be afraid! Please ask me any questions that weren't answered here by PMing me.
