I had no idea what to name this one.
I am beyond excited about the fact that this doesn't look warped or desaturated on my phone. I'm freaking ecstatic. This is the most satisfied I've ever been with a drawing ♡♡♡
I don't have much to say this time around, but I'll say this; I think making art is like using a printer, because every time I approach a drawing with fear, things don't go well. I tried to jump on in with this one and I am super excited about how it came out ♡
Inspiration / Reference was from @desiandlucythecats on Instagram ♡

loki, wrote:quick question, how do you draw fur. I struggle with it and I do work from a reference , sometimes
I really recommend using references, experimenting with both long and short fur, etc!
Here’s my process, which of course might not be your style at all :’) This is what I do for semi-realism:
I start by blocking in the colors with the pen tool, and usually I start with two-three colors(a base color, a darker color, and a lighter color) so I can work on the details later. Then I blend them with the watercolor tool, and I use around 60-70% opacity at this stage so I don’t overblend on accident. I add more colors by blocking them in lightly with the pen tool as well and then blending them out with a slightly lower opacity watercolor. (And I might be accidentally leaving out a few parts of the process) Then I start adding in the details with both a lower opacity/smaller watercolor tool & a small pen tool.
Like I said, I improvise a lot of the time while I’m drawing & I just get in the zone and don’t even register what I’m doing. I just recommend practicing, experimenting, and using references.
