Art of ABeardedDragon's Caltha, who is the mother to my newest tolter filly, Eve.

I am really starting to like the backgrounds that I am creating, especially this one! I wanted it to be fall inspired still, since I'm not willing to accept that winter is here; but I wanted to to be the part of fall after all the leaves lose their colors. The background was very much inspired by horse farm images that are in the Secretariat movie.

I have no idea what the time will state but I was watching Secretariat while drawing, and there were moments that I had to watch instead of drawing...such a good movie!

Oh my gosh ?? This is an absolutely gorgeous background! Why doesn't it have more comments?? This is a crime!!
Honestly, just a bit of advice, I think the only reason this doesn't have a ton of comments is because you have backgrounds themselves down, but not colors? I know that may sound weird, I mean, the way you color is phenomenal! But most people aren't grabbed by very "natural" coloring? If so hard to explain but I'll try XD I think it's easier to explain with an example of two artz. This is what I think of as "natural" coloring -- it's what a real cloudy day would look like. Compare that to something like this where the colors are highly exaggerated. You sort of have to find a balance in between these two, where it's eye catching, but also doesn't look too cRAzy if you don't want it to. The bottom line is people don't click stuff that isn't eye catching / pleasing to look at. Sorry if this makes no sense to you. I tried. You can PM me if you want. XD

@ ~Teya~ - That makes perfect sense to me! And I really appreciate the feedback! For right now I am focusing on making art that I envision versus trying to get the most likes. It is nice to know that my art is appreciated though ❤️
