Question, Ik this is noob but... Im designing a kal for the furture if I get my hands on an unlimited uncommen myo, but how it says in uncommem: Custom pupil, can u change the shape of the eye?

powers that don’t affect the kalon’s appearance are allowed! this means any kalon can be considered immortal, a demon, ghost, etc, so long as it doesn’t change its look (can’t make a ghost transparent unless legendary, ie).

changing the shape of the eye would be an expression edit! you wouldn't need a trait to do that;; however changing the pupil shape would still be uncommon.

Hello! There really isn't a specific way to "join" Kalons, you are welcome to start participating in adopts and events whenever you find a Kalon that you want to try out for!

If you'd like to get to know the other users of the community, you can post on our fanclub, or ask a staff member for an invite link to our Discord server!

Below is a detailed guideline on how to adopt a Kalon if you are confused. : )

To adopt a Kalon simply click on one of the adoptables on the front page and see if the competition is open. In the main post there will be details about the contest and how to win. Each contest is different and each artist will judge based on different things, which will usually be detailed in the contest guidelines. Most contests involve filling out a form and with the form with the best idea, art, or writing is picked as the winner. It all depends on the specific adopt! If you're unsure of what to do with your forms, you can take a look at some finished competitions and see what the winning forms look like to get ideas.

Runner Ups (RUs) are sometimes awarded, as well as Honorable Mentions (HMs) which can be collected and redeemed for custom adopts. In the main post of this thread, under the header image, there is a directory of links to the various Kalon threads such as the Fanclub, Nursery, and Customs thread. I suggest taking a look at the Fanclub to see what everyone is up to! I hope you find something you like and I wish you luck in winning an adopt. You are always free to message myself or another member of staff with any questions you may have. c:

I have a question:

Do broken or paralyzed legs have a rarity? I know missing limbs and limbs or part of the limb missing is rare, but I don’t know about other defects or injuries.

Also do things like notches and missing tips on ears count as scars or ear edits?

Would clear blood count as rare odd-colored blood, or legendary transparency?
Also, would a kalon having separate summer and winter colors (like an arctic fox or hare) count as a legendary form change?
