Hey c:

In order to adopt an egg from the Hatchery, you need to own at least one (adult) Viscet first ^-^

The main adoption thread can be found here, and in order to obtain a Viscet, you have multiple possibilities:
1) adoptin through competition
The most common form, I dare to say. If you see a Viscet with a white "UFA ♥" sign in the corner, that means you can win it by entering a competition. What you have to do will always be written down by the artist, you should always pay attention to end dates too (as it is possible that a competition is already closed)
2) adoption through buying via deviantART
Viscets with a green "UFA ♥" sign are obtainable via dA. Most of them are auctions and cost points
3) adoption through buying via C$
Viscets with a yellow "UFA ♥" sign cost C$
4) adoption through buying via stubs
stubs are Viscet currency and can be obtained by entering competitions
here is the info on stubs
If you have enough stubs, you can buy Viscets with them
5) creating a custom
a custom has to be either won (through events or raffles) or bought with stubs or dA points
info on customs

No matter which way you got your Viscet, you have to wait at least 30 days until you can breed (Nursery) or adopt an egg (Hatchery)
