Hallvulpine is a special Halloween fox adoptable, that will be made and released only for the Halloween season. Each Hallvulpine will have a Halloween-themed form contest and each one will be ended and judged by the 31st.

SPECIES INFO
A Hallvulpine is a fox creature similar to a red fox with slightly larger ears. They are nocturnal and are never seen in the sun. However, their night vision isn't as good as you'd think- every Hallvulpine carries a lantern around with them everywhere. This helps them see at night. Where they find these lanterns is unknown, but they are very tricky creatures! Hallvulpines have been known to hang around pumpkin patches and cemeteries. Hallvulpines can come in any color and usually have dark points (darker legs, face, ears, and tail tips), and most have what is known as a "mask" marking on their face that come in a variety of shapes, and are usually symmetrical.

SPECIES RULES
-Currently only one Hallvulpine is allowed per person, as not many of them will be released (if you adopted one last year, you are allowed to adopt one this year!)
-You can enter for as many as you'd like, but remember that as soon as you win one, all of your other entries will be disqualified
-Hallvulpines can be sold/traded for CS pets, currency, or other characters, but may NOT be sold off-site or for real monetary currency. This includes deviantart points. CS only!
-Please respect all of CS's general rules and art rules
-Do not take credit for your Hallvulpine or use any Hallvulpine that is not yours

QUESTIONS I CAN ANSWER BEFORE YOU ASK THEM
Q: How many can I try out for?
A: As many as you want, but you can only win one.
Q: How many foxes will be made?
A: I have to catch them first, but I try to find one each night up to Halloween, that's when they go back into hibernation until next year.
Q: Do Hallvulpines have genders/sexualities?
A: They are too busy stealing matches and lamp oil to care about such things.
Q: Will there be Hallvulpines again next year?
A: Only time will tell.
Q: Can I pretty up my form with coding/art/extra images?
A: If it pleases you.
Q: Can you continue this year round?
A: I would if Hallvulpines didn't hibernate for 11 months out of the year. So no, sorry.
Q: Can we breed Hallvulpines?
A: Science has concluded that Hallvulpines spawn via dark forces of the night, summoned by a certain spell while also brewing a mixture of moonbeam essence, candy corn, and bottled werewolf howls. I'm not sure who conjured them up, but it must have been many decades ago, and I am only finding ones that have been around for a while. I don't think they can be formed any other way.
Q: Can I get a transparent version of the fox I win?
A: Sure, I have a multidimensional portal that can transport them to the void temporarily for such occasions - just ask.
