Personality: Loner, Curious, Mischievous, Not always "popular" but happy with herself. Known for standing up for those who need help. Sometimes seen as harsh, but thinks of herself as honest.
Likes: Exploring when there is warm weather, playing tricks, writing.
Dislikes: Dishonesty, People who are serious to often, Cold weather.
Background: Abandoned as kitten, Vinia learned the hard way how cruel the world could be. Instead of letting it turn her heart to stone, she turned it into compassion for those in trouble. Even though her past has caused her to be somewhat of a loner, she will help anyone in need. While most think Vinia has nothing but tricks up her sleeves, only the closest to her know how intelligent she is. With big hopes and dreams of becoming a well-known name, Vinia knows someday she will become a journalist and show everyone just how far this little kit can go.

I'm a tad confused on what the donations are for and the winning thing. Could someone whos donated or won in something or a mod/mini-mod explain a little better. If you will, thanks a lot.

People donate character designs that they made and want to give away, and other people who want to 'adopt' a character design fill out forms describing the character they would use that design for. The person who has the best and most creative form/character for a particular design wins it. As an example, if three people wanted the #15 design, each of them would write out a description of the character they want to use it for and post it here. The form that is judged to be the best by me or an invited guest judge wins that design, and the other two unfortunately get nothing, as only the winner is allowed to use the design. It's been really quiet over here for months now, since Wendigo and I are both very busy and activity here has really dropped off, but it's much the same procedure in other character adoption centers that you might come across on CS. :3

Name: Collette
Species: Immortal Feral Cat (explained in Background)
Personality: A very intelligent she-cat. At times, she can be sensible, but usually she is bad-tempered and bitter. Collette hates to see others suffer, but when they deserve it, she lets them experience a little bit of pain. After all, it was nothing compared to what she felt over the years.
Likes: Egypt, sleeping in the sun, climbing pyramids.
Dislikes: Grave-looters, thieves.
Background:
Born into a poor family, Collette grew up being loved and worshipped - like every cat was in Egypt - along with her mother and siblings. At that time, cats were considered blessings to every family, no matter what their status. Though the humans that fed her had little to offer, Collette never thought that she had anything missing from her life. She would go out exploring during the day, and return most nights to sleep with the eldest humans from the family. When she reached the age of a young adult, however, her life took a turning point for the worse. Her family decided to give her along with her siblings up to the royal pharoah as a gift. Not understanding exactly what was happening, Collette believed that they were just going on a trip, and was delighted to be brought along.
The pharoah was honored of the gift, and instantly accepted. He was very intrigued with Collette's appearance; she had very odd and beautiful markings, he thought. So he kept them, taking them out to live in the courtyard of the palace.
Collette felt quite betrayed, and grew bitter with the world. Somehow she forced the blame onto her siblings, and vowed to never speak to them again. Her days were spent wandering through the castle alone. Though in her mind this was exactly what she wanted, she was lonely. Her pride would never let her admit it, though.
She spent a long time like this; wandering. Until one day, as she entered a room she had never seen before, she saw a young girl in a corner, weeping. Tipping her head to one side, she approached, tail up as she purred and rubbed against her knee. It was odd for Collette to do something like this, but she just felt like it was the right thing to do for some strange reason.
The girl looked up, and she smiled slightly at the sight of the beautiful cat. Inviting her to sit on her lap, Collette obliged, and the two became inseparable. Later the cat learned that this girl was princess Nefertiti, heir to the throne. She had been crying because she did not like her would-be husband.
They spent their lives together, Collette almost never leaving her side. Until one day, her girl fell sick. It made Collette feel terrible, and she spent her days pressed up against Nefertiti, trying to comfort her as she coughed violently, fever burning through her.
Over the next few days, it was apparent that the girl would not recover. Plans were already made for her tomb to be made. Mustering up her final strength, Nefertiti summoned a magician to her side, asking her to make Collette immortal. Though this was an odd request, Nefertiti insisted that the cat would live her life for her, and that she was all that she cared about. Not really understanding what was going on, Collette felt quite strange as the man put his hands over her, and a bright glow filtered out towards her heart.
After the death of Nefertiti, Collette became a lost soul, as she had been before. Her days were spent guarding the pyramid that her girl had been left in. She still felt peculiar from the day the magician had come; it was as if she could not get hurt.
In all of Egypt, there was a legend of the cat who was seen only at sunhigh, guarding the pyramid.

Side-note: I absolutely loved writing this story, and the design for this character is so good. I fell in love with it, and if I do get this character, I shall love it forever <3 Also, I'd actually write the story out rather than the summary.. And I'd write the legend.

Personality:
All together a very intelligent, brave, and loving corgi. She is a hard and determind worker and always shoots for the top. But, her bark is definatly bigger than her bite. She is sweet and loving altogether. She feels sadness and pain watchign others suffer from anything, and always wants just to help. That is, if she can. At other times she feels somewhat proud if someones in pain. If they deserve it. But one thing she never understands is hatred. And so therefor she never truley could hate.
Likes:
Walks, sun, flowers, competition, love.
Dislikes:
Hatred, sadness, water.
Background:
Whisper was born into a wealthy, californian family. She was loved and played with. Cared for and fed. She was a show-pup and won many things. But, whisper wasn't so fond of being groomed and touched by strangers every week-end. So, when the family was ona yaht trip with her to another fashion show, she got sad and angry. She started freaking out and barking. No way could they take her again to another show. So, getting annoyed one of the men on the ship put her in a cardboard box and... plop.

The box was thrown overboard with her in it. Whisper was frantic, until she leaped into the waves and started to swim around. Swimming through the water was hard and scary for her. Gulping up the salty water, her fur getting stuck to her body and the cold chills sent through her when a fish school passed by. Whisper hadn't noticed she was going deeper into the water.

When she almost colapsed and gave up a ship sailed by. It was a US Navy ship and seeing the dog in the water they lifted her up on board and set her down. She was treated well and gaven the nickname, "Wet Whispy" because of finding her wet and quiet.

"Wet Whispy" was given the job of a trained army dog. She was either on land or on the boat, never in the water of coarse, and gather bullets to give or men to gaurd when fallen. Whisper fell in love with one General, and they became close. He was farly young with thick stubble on his chin and dark black hair. His name was Nic. Nic and Whisper where close, until Nic was sent to Iraq and Whisper was needed there.

Nic couldn't bare leaving her and took her as far and Greece to stop and give her to a dog training school where she learned to help disabled. Nic didn't come back one year later, and she was a 3 year old stray. She now roams the forests.

Your form is too short - the background alone should be at least 100 words, and the personality could do with more description. ;3 Try writing out how she would react in different situations, why she has her particular likes or dislikes, a bit of a story with a big event in her life or even just her regular day, or other things along those lines to help build up her character and show what things make her special. :3
