legends told the story of a mystical creature born from the first dream of a child. that first glimmer of imagination and hope was turned into a being, the size of a dog, that would follow a child around in its beginning years to protect it, and to protect that first hope. but sylverae mysteriously vanished one day, hiding in far-away mountaintops and forests, forever being cemented as no more than a legend.

but one day, they began to return. trickling back into the human world to protect their creators once again.
come here, and find your sylverae. adopt a sylverae whose child is no longer around. protect these wonderful creatures, just like they hope to protect you.

1. sylverae are a closed species. please don't make your own!

2. no spamming (marking is fine)

3. no guilt tripping winners/hms/judging artists

4. sylverae ownership can be revoked by temps de combustion

5. if you are banned from the species, you will be put on a private blacklist and may not participate in adopting sylverae, participating in events, and your sylverae will be revoked and ownership will be transferred as seen fit.

6. sylverae may not be traded or sold for USD, deviantArt points, or anything that transfers into real, non-virtual money.

7. if you purchase a sylverae with cs currency or otherwise, you may put the sylverae up for re-adoption but you will NOT be given a refund.

artist rules

1. no fcfs adopts are allowed

2. you must make at least one adopt a month on the sylverae lines

3. you are granted one myo slot per month, based on how many sylverae you design
(stats are reset at the start of each month, myo slots may be hoarded)
1-3 sylverae: common slot
4-5 sylverae: uncommon slot
6+ sylverae: rare slot

4. you are allowed to give away your myo slot as a custom pass in any way you see fit.

5. you may reward ONE breeding slot per THREE competitions

6. myos go under the 'customs' cover

7. you are not allowed to make legendary or mythical sylvs without prior permission
