Miststar looked once back at manestar before turning around. She sat outside of her den, her head down. She stared at the ground, her blue eyes glazed over with sadness. She threw back her head and yowled, only to be chocked off by the tears that shut her up. She laid on the ground, crying, her whole body shaking and her paws over her muzzle. She cried, her tail wrapped around her hind legs, a sudden feeling of lonleyness washed over her. Manestar liked mapleshadow now, but she still loved him. her blue eyes were clouded, tears still spilling from them as she thought of Brightshadow-wondering where he was at a time like this.

Brightshadow lay up in a tree but he heard crying. He looked at Tawny. "Tawny, i'll be back!"
Tawny frowned. "It's OwlPaw to you now!" he tutted.
Brightshadow ran and looked at Miststar . His ehart missed a beat. He ran and layed down be ehr. "Miststar? Mistar, what's up?" he said, still a large scratch on his paw. He felt very worried now.

MistStar looked up, tears streaking her beautiful white pelt. She blinked, her blue eyes not taking in the fact that Brightshadow had appeared out of nowhere. She sighed, "i-its manestar" she stuttered, "I heard him talking to mapleshadow, and he loves her." a loud wail burst from her throat. "i dont want to love him, but i do. He says he feels the same." she broke down in tears. "and i almost attacked a-a-a duskclan kit" she wailed even louder.

Hiddenthunder sighed and licked her on the forhead for comfort. "It's okay." he said, his voice shaky. "I know how bad you feel." he said, trying not to bring up his background story. He just sighed. "But what about your kits?!" he burst out all of a sudden, eyes alrge with suprise.

Miststar burried her head in his flank. "i dont know!" she mewed. she looked into his eyes, her own had stopped crying. "will you help me raise them?"

(Woah! Major new stuff. Haha ok then... and Shadow, idk if Manestar likes mapleshadow or WHAT, but I DO know that Mapleshadow likes Manestar. lol. Idk why that's funny XD)

Mapleshadow watches Manestar go, feeling guilty for not saying anything to cheer him up. But what COULD she say? 'I'm sorry that your mate turned out to be a kit killer, but I love you, so it'll be okay?' Uh uh. No way. Shaking her head slightly, she stands and pads out of camp to patrol the border.

(i would send other cats on patrols, but it seems like no ones ever rly on 'cept the leaders and me and some apprentices. XD)
