Contribution (Put Your Statement, story, art here): Darlene was very excited to be exploring for the first time. As she landed on the soft grass, she marvelled at the feeling of it benath her small paws. Her squishy wings fluttered as a thrill of happiness ran through her body. It was a lovely sunny day, and she spent the afternoon roaming the hills, skipping about as she searched for something interesting. There were many sweet flowers to smell, and she decided to come back later and pick some to put in a nice vase. After an hour or so she decided to lay down, and sprawled out on the side of a lush hill, laying on her back so the sun would warm her tummy. For awhile she watched the clouds floating gently by. The serene afternoon made her feel quite dozy, and without meaning to she took a quick nap. She felt calm when she awoke, and also refreshed. But, she was also quite hungry. So she got up, padding around to collect some flowers, before bundling them under her arm and flying home.

Abnus always needs to explore with his human, it scares him to do it otherwise. Unfortunately, this means that sometimes he finds the discarded bottle caps from drinks that his owner has had outside. He sure is curious about them!

What Moth Pixie will you be sending: Darlene
Contribution (Put Your Statement, story, art here): Today Darlene was doing some exploring of a different kind - looking for baking ingredients! With a cart tucked under her arm and shopping list in hand, she roamed the supermarket in search of what she needed. Of course along the way she couldn't help slip in a treat or two; a little bag of walnuts here, a small chocolate bar there. More than once she had to remind herself what she'd come for. Once she'd paid for her groceries she made her way home, humming softly to herself. She got to work right away, pouring and sifting and cracking and mixing. Once in the oven, the kitchen was filled with the heavenly aroma of baking. She was very excited to pull them out, and when she did - perfection! Four beautifully round honey cakes, sweet and sticky and indulgent. It was the perfect snack to have with her afternoon cup of tea, and she thought it tasted even better knowing she'd made them herself.
