personality:
Brave and comical, yet childish and immature, O can be a handful. She's
always on the go, always moving, never resting. She throws tantrums
when she doesn`t get what she wants. Yet she can be awesome to be
around, as she makes great jokes is almost always smiling. O loves
to hike, rock climb, skydive, etc. and has made it her profession to
do dangerous and extreme sports. She loves the thrill, the adrenaline
that it gives her. O can be sort of fearless, and that can get dangerous
as she has no clue when to stop, what is too much. She is in great shape
and can bench press 115 lbs.
history:
O started off as a weak, can-barely-open-bottles young pup. She was the
runt of the litter, and therefor was never able to gain the strength she had
needed. Eventually though, as they started eating real food, O gained the
strength of a normal pup. Her obsession with near-death started when she
fell off a fairly big cliff. She was playing with her brothers and sisters, when
she tripped, and fell. As soon as she hit the bottom, and was miraculously ok,
she realized she loved the feeling. The fear, her heart pumping in her chest,
the feeling in her stomach. So, when nobody was looking, she would jump off
the cliff, just to relive that sweet feeling. Eventually she perfected it, so she
wouldn`t die, and could feel the feeling without the risk of breaking everywhere.
As she grew up, she realized this was her calling. She pursued a carrier in extreme
sports.

He'll be subject 016 in a series of dino based experiments run by a private laboratory that orbits a strange star nicknamed Nova-x. (Nova-x is rumored to be the cause of nova timezones. it's apparently frozen in time and yet still generates heat & light.) Ivan will eventually break free from these labs during a mass break out, but for now he's just watching, waiting and planning...

(This entry will be partially from the point of view of someone who works within the labs. She's called Ignis and she interacts with Ivan regularly.)

Aha! Ivan is just over 2 years old, his birthday was last week actually.

Personality:
He might appear to be an adorable danger chicken, but don't be fooled. Behind that cute fluffball of feathers lies a devilishly cunning creature. He's observant and equipped with a good memory, capable of recalling scenes from the past in great detail. He'd never outright kill or purposefully injure the staff at the labs, he isn't a mindless creature. All he truly wants is to escape. Ivan dreams of freedom regularly. He's treated really well at his current home, but he's intelligent enough to realise there's a whole universe out there for him to explore. He longs to know what's out there.

Ivan hates how others commonly assume that he's stupid. If he overhears a conversation that makes him seem less intelligent than he is he begins to act hostile. Unfortunately this doesn't help his case. He's worked this out and tries to stop himself from doing this, however its really hard for him to control himself sometimes. Its just that one pet peeve that he has and he just can't stand iy. He's usually very calm and rational, but this is ne of the few things that make him act out of order.

Ivan will occasionally mimic the sounds that the staff makes. He's still learning and trying to understand their language, but he understands the meaning of a large bank of words already. He still can't articulate a whole sentence, but he's definitely getting there. Give him a fe months and he'll be saying basic phrases. Ivan enjoys messing with the staff at the labs by mimic their language. It freaks them all out. Some are catching on and think it could be Ivan, but they all pass it off as impossible. Ivan thinks its funny how he's seen as less intelligent and yet they can't even comprehend the idea that he's learning their tongue.


Ignis:
I'd say Ivan is probably one of the friendliest subjects we have. Ok, so he hates almost everyone, but I feel thats because they don't respect him in the way he wants us to. I just approach him as a friend and he accepts that happily. Coming to think of it, the only other individual Ivan likes a lot is Astris.

Ivan acts all tough, but i think he has a soft side to him. He adoree attention from those he likes. Ivan likes to bond verbally more than physically, but he sure loves a good belly rub. Though i would not recommend trying to pet him unless he likes you, he can be dangerous if you annoy him. I'd recommend building up a friendship of sorts by communicating verbally if you want him to like you better.

Right now I think Ivan is actually annoyed with me as I forgot his birthday. I should probably apologise, it will hopefully ease things up a little. You know, he's rather intelligent, its like he understands everything I say.




History:
Ivan was created at the labs and he was the 16th successful experiment to survive past a year. This gained him his subject number, 016.

At first Ivan refused to eat and he was expected to die. Many staff members tried to feed him various different foods, but Ivan wouldn't take anything. He didn't recognise anybody as his parents and so refused any food, assuming it could be dangerous. Even force feeding didn't work. He was weak and very close to death when Astris tried to force feed Ivan. Strangely enough, it worked. The staff came to the conclusion that is was Astrises ghostly features that may have convinced Ivan that they may possibly be related.

Ivan sort of named himself, after having displayed signs of intelligence Astris gave him some books as an experiment. Ivan couldn't understand them at the time and ended up trying to eat one of the books. The boks titale was "Stories of sea and stones: Ivan's adventure volume 1" and so he was jokingly named Ivan after the book. The name stuck and Ivan seems to like his name.

Ivan has spent his whole life at the labs and even though its the only thing he's ever known, he's worked out theres something beyond his enclosure and he's desperate to see whatever it is. This need to see outside is due to his intelligence. He's spent his two years so far at the labs living a rather luxury life. He started off with a somewhat small enclosure but he was quickly moved to a better, bigger one with all the space he wanted.

Ignis:
Ivan's only two years old, not that much has happened. He was created in creating section 3 and raised from a chick in nursery #2. He didn't eat for a while and he was really weak. Eventually Astris managed to get Ivan to eat somehow. It was a miracle that Ivan survived. In our early days not many lived past a week. We're much more experienced now though and nowadays almost everyone survivee with ease.

And now two years later, just look at him. Ivan's doing amazing, he's eating well, hes rather social and expresive... He's often the highlight of my day. Soon i ad Astris will be working with him more due to his dislike towards everyone else. Hopefully we can get the other staff to learn how to communicate with him.





Relationships:
The first friendship he formed was with Astris. Asrtis was involved with rearing Ivan from a chick, and so their relationship is part parent-child in nature, although theyboth see each other as good friends. Its clear they're both very close.

Ivan later befriended Ignis as she was one of the few staff who actually respected him at all. Ignis was different though, she actually recognised his intelligence. She herself is trying to learn and understand Ivans way of communicating, although it will take her years to vcme before she starts to understand fully. At least she can understand basic emotions Ivan displays, unlike almost everybody else. Overall these two are extremely close.

The parent figure for Ivan and a trusted staff member within the labs. He'll only strengthen his bond with Ivan over time and when Ivan escapes he searches desperately for him, as any good parent would if their child went missing.

He claims that he's 34, but its rumoured that he's actually millions of years old.
Species: Unknown- some sort of ghostly canine





Personality:
Astris can come off as rather intimidating and even scary at times. However he's truly just a big softie who doesn't even realise how frightening he can be. Astris is an extremely kind hearted and forgiving individual. He finds happiness in helping others and strong friendships built over time. Astris values having free time as one of the most important aspects of life. Without some free time to just do nothing and relax he starts to feel overworked, sometimes even a little sad. His favourite phrase is "Without fre time lives value is my paycheck." Astris can be lighthearted and full of silly jokes a times. Its another way he enjoys his time.

Astris is naturally pessimistic, but he tries to see things from a more optimistic way. For him his pessimism drags him down into a pit of misery, so he often ignores his more negative thoughs unless they're actually helpful to the task that he's doing. By doing this Astris leads an enjoyable and overall happy lifestyle. He works hard abd rewards himself with free time and happy thoughts. Astris can also be a little opportunistic. He's quick to jump onto a challenging task and he doesn't care much about risks. Admittedly he hardly ever considers risks and this sometimes gets him into trouble and occasionally dangerous situations. He doesn't usually panic untill its already too late as well. Astris sometimes procrastinated things, but he makes sure he does so in a way that allows him to be more creative with his ideas. If there's a mandatory task that he has to do, Astris will often put that task on his to-do list at the back of his head and go off and do another thing. By the time h's done he's figured out the best or quickest way of getting the task done.

Overall Astrid tries verg hard to lead a good lifestyle and keep himself in good mental health. Perhaps he tries a little too hard at times, but it seems to work. He used to struggle a lot with negative emotions and thoughs in the past and this is simply how he's picked himself up and tried to improve his wellbeing.



History:
Others don't know much about Astrises history. Astris himself claims to be 34, but in reality he's far older than that. He's actually about 2 million years old.

His life started as a regular canine-like species on a small inhabitable planet. His species had moved in to the planet after their larger home planet became vastly over populated. His parents moved over to the small, nearby planet a few years before Astris was born.

He grew up there in a vastly clever community. New inventions appeared monthly and the living conditions were always getting even better somehow. Astris complained about having to wash the dished one day and within a week someone had invented a self-cleaning substance that would wipe clean the plate in split seconds. (although this substance turned out to be very deadly and was quickly outlawed).

Astris actually felt very overwhelmed by everyones intelligence. During his time in ecucation he started to feel a little stupid as he just wasn't good at that sort of thing. The education system was created with young thinkers and inventors in mind and nobody else was considered. The adverage child did amazing in this system, but Astrid failed a lot.

After growing up and eventually graduating Astris had had enough. He chose to moove away from the planet and he did so through teleportation. It was the quickest and safest way of travel, however it wasn't completely flawless. This particular method took your energy and matter and spat it out at your desired location. Unfortunately Astris was one of the very rare cases of it going wrong. It successful spat him out at his desired new home, but unfortunately his matter and energy didn't exactly reassemble correctly. As it turns out the teleportation device accidentally adsorbed extra energy from the surroundings before Astris stepped into it. It spat out the extra energy as he traveled and ended up turning him into a part ghost, of sorts. He was still alive and able to touch and interact with the world, but he could float and pass through certain materials. His back end no longer has legs either, it was more like a snake in a way, but overall Astris thinks its cool because it adds to his ghostly appearance.

However the teleportation device also accidentally set him back in time. It also turns out this particular model could be used as a very dangerous time machine if over energised. Astris was furious about this at first, but when he worked out that he had a seemingly endless lifespan he didn't care as much.

Eventually he returns to his homeplanet after a million years of waiting for the correct time. He didn't teleport though due to his lifelong fear of teleportation due to the freak accident he was involved in. He finally got the chance to tell his friends and family about what happened and eventually sued the company who made that particular teleportation model. That model was discontinued.

A million years after this Astris ends up at the labs orbiting nova-x. He spend the past million years rather aimlessly travelling about and trying to find a purpose. Eventually he randomly bumps into the private project and offers to help out of interest.



Relationships:
Astris is extremely close to Ivan. As the individual who ended up raising Ivan from a chick, Astris feels a huge parental role towards him. He knows Ivan the best and he's aware of his intelligence (to an extent). The two have always found themselves farmilliar in the ghostly aspects of themselves- Astrises ghostly properties and Ivans strange floating claws. Together their like a ghostly father and son. These two are inseparable and if Ivan wasn't kept in an enclosure he would probably do everything with Astris.

Ignis is an old friend. Astris was welcomed by her when he arrived at the labs. She may be serious and unwilling to tolerate most jokes, but she's a caring and fun loving individual at heart. She'll happily mess about with Astris when she's not working, but her serious attitude gets put on the moment she starts her working day. But that doesn't stop Astris from trying to mess about still.

Age: 3 years
Personality: Kouki is a mysterious wolf with even more mysterious powers. He is intelligent and cunning often taking the lead in making big decisions as he is rational and sometimes level headed depending on the situation. Most of the time Kou is hardheaded as once he makes a decision it is near impossible to make him change his mind. Other than being stubborn he is loyal, closed off, harsh and blunt. Rarely he will be kind and caring towards those close to him (not publicly of course).
History:
Kouki was kicked out of his cruel pack when he was young he grew up alone in the dying world around him. He would hurt and kill to get food and protect himself. One day after a fight he was fatally wounded by a pack he had encountered on his journey, not knowing he was in their territory. He was unable to move his back legs and unable to see out of his left eye. He passed out from blood loss and dreamt of a strange white wolf who made him drink a shiny liquid from a bowl made out of a coconut with strange markings carved into it. The strange wolf explained to Kou of his current location within the dream. Callidom. A paradise of peace and beauty in the dying world. A place of legend. Kouki could hardly believe it was real. It was just a dream. Right? The wolf continued to explain the mission of Kouki. To lead those who wish to Callidom. He was to be one of the official protectors of the peaceful place. When he awoke he was able to see out of his eye and move his legs with the effect of blue markings on his legs and around his eye. They glow when he uses his newfound powers that he also awoke from the strange dream with. He knew it was real and he had witnessed a legend. His goal is to help any and everyone to Callidom.
