these are a remake of my old adopts fruiti bats that i made about a year ago. decided to bring it back since a lot of others wanted it back <3
you wash up on shore and find yourself on a rainforest island. confused, you look around and yell for help, hoping you're not the only human on this island. someone seems to be coming for you! but it's...a bat?
"hello..i heard you yelling for help. are you okay? my name is Cocoa. what did you-"
a human walks up to you and the small brown bat. they begin to talk, interrupting Cocoa.
"hey! Cocoa who are you talking to- huh? another human being? here? well, hello. excuse Cocoa, she's my pet bat. you might not know what this place is.. it's called fruitopia. it's a normal tropical rainforest, until you take a look at the animals..they're all fruit-like! noone's really sure why they're like this, maybe they're mutated or somethin. i decided to stay here for a while so i could study fruitopia and the many species that reside here. i've taken a special interest in these fruit bats though..
"fruit bats? what? aren't those a normal species of bat?"
"oh no no, not those fruit bats. fruitopia fruit bats! in fact, Cocoa is a fruit bat. fruit bats are a rare species of bat that only lives here in fruitopia. they carry appearances of a variety of different fruits, which can help them easily camouflage from predators or strangers by pretending to be real fruit and hanging off of trees or bushes. they even smell like fruit! that's why Cocoa looks and smells like a real coconut. fruit bats are social little fellas, all those loud chirps and noises you keep hearing? that's them! they're everywhere in fruitopia. they have a diet that consists of only fruit, a bat's favorite fruit is the fruit of their appearance (ex: a banana bat's favorite would be bananas) eating lots of fruit everyday is important, it gives a fruit bat their ripe, colorful appearance. unlike most bats, they're diurnal.

β’ the litters are raffles. this is to give everyone a fair chance! people who were on the old fruit bats thread may remember i made them FCFS but that didn't give a lot of people a chance to adopt a bat, which is why i changed it.

this is a raffle bat! (ik the litters are technically raffles too but shhh) anyone can enter for raffle bats, even people who've already entered for litters! if you don't win the litter bat you wanted, you have a second chance of winning a bat if you enter for a raffle bat. breeding
"you wanna breed a bat pair? lovely. before you go ahead and try to breed them, make sure you've already bought the corazonfruit item. shortly after you breed your bats, you will receive a bat pup. your bat pup will grow up into a full bat in about a week or two. also, each bat can only breed once, so be wise with which bat pairs you choose to breed. after you've bred, you cannot breed again until it's been a month since you've last bred bats.
bat pups don't carry the fruit traits of their parents. if you bred two strawberry bats, their pup won't be strawberry-like when they're born. all bat pups look like normal bats until they start growing older when their fruit traits will start appearing. they're not very active and would rather just sleep, stretch and cuddle all day.
