It is covered in moss, so it is safe for pups to venture all the way to the base of their home.

He led the trio into camp, the scruff of a sow in his jaws. Rikiar had been hold one of the front legs, and Teja was holding on of the back legs. He held his tail high with pride, and his own stubble show of dominance. His golden-amber eyes wandered over to the alphas den, his jaws tightening around the sow. The pups will be born soon. I should begin soon. All I need to do is get rid of him.

Half-heartedly the young female wondered when her family would arrive back at camp. Rasha had been lying with her belly exposed to the sun, and grinned when she saw Bene, Rikiar and Teja enter camp as if summoned. Their hunt had been successful! The pack will eat well tonight! Maybe big brother Bene will teach me some more, later. The female enjoyed learning from her big brother, he was a good teacher and very patient.

Holding a front leg of the sow, the trio had caught. Rikiar let his tail drag on the ground, ashamed that he'd missed the signal for the rush kill earlier. This fact had caused both Bene and Teja to over exert themselves, so they had stop to catch their breath. He glanced back at Teja as they walked into camp, and whined softly in apology. He sighed softly when he got a stiff nod in return, Thank Odin.

Teja was at the back, holding a hind leg of the sow. She had suggested that the little family go hunting, but Rasha had decided to stay behind. Which is probably why Rikiar had messed up just a bit. Normally it was Rasha that would do the rush kill, or if Rikiar did the rush then it would have taken a bit longer. Rasha was still learning, but with Bene's training she'd be a good hunter in no time.

Dew was tired from staying in the den all day. So what if she was going to have pups soon? She wanted to go out and hunt, she wanted to actually lead the pack. 'I hope everyone is fine.' Her stomach growled, so Dew walked outside slowly. Suddenly she heard pawsteps. The hunting wolves had arrived!

Sora ran as fast as the wind. She checked the breeze to see how fast she had been and grimaced. Six beats. Oh why was she so slow today? She trudged unhappily to camp, feeling hungrier than ever. She spotted Rikiar and smiled. They had come back! She looked closer and saw a ginormous Sow on their backs. The pack would have a feast today.

Once the trio was in the middle of camp, the muscular male turned his gaze to young Rasha, though he did glance at young Sora. "Rasha, come eat now. Or you'll go to training on an empty belly." He commanded sharply. He glanced at Rikiar, Teja and Sora then added," The rest of you are welcome to join us." He turned back to the kill and quickly bit into it's bloodied chest, searching out it's heart and liver. Both were his favorites, and high in nutrients. Once he found them, he tore out the heart, and dropped it in front of him before going after the liver. After retrieving that the male picked up the two pieces, and started heading toward the alpha's den to drop off Dew's meal. It's something he did from time to time, in hope of staying in her good graces.

Hopping to her paws the young female bolted over and barked," What kind of training is Big brother Bene planning today, Teja? Has he told you?" The female giggled with excitement, her tail wagging and a slight prep in her step as she circled the boar. What part will I eat today? Share a leg with Rikiar? A rib? She paused then suddenly lunged having made a decision. After a short amount of time Rasha, pulled away with a juicy rib. Turning her gaze to Rikiar as he spoke.

Nearly flinching at Bene's tone the male lowered his head, then glanced at Rasha as she approached joyfully. His dark brown eyes soon wandered to Sora though, and he nodded to the young husky. He silently wondered what she'd been doing before, before shrugging it off and turning back to his adoptive family. " I think Benedictus has some battle training planned for the day. I know I'm going to be joining you two. There are a few thing I need to work on."

The lass let out a soft hum then said," Rik, you're fighting skills are fine. No one's hunting, fighting or tracking skills are ever perfect." She rolled her shoulders then added," Now, we should all eat, before Bene comes back and hogs it all. The big fatty." Well that wasn't true, Teja had spotted her elder brother snaking on two fish earlier before the hunt. They'd given him plenty of food, at least for the day. That male had never liked having big meals, and anything bigger than a fawn Bene considered a big meal. Teja sighed then stepped forward then began to tare at a leg.

Misu - Alpha Male - Mate;; Dew - Location;; Camp - Tags;; Dew/Open

Misu dozed in his den, but at the sound of his mate's voice he shook awake. "I'm sure they are Dew." But he followed her out of the den anyway. Dew's belly was swollen, showing that she was close to having pups. His pups.
Everytime he looked at her pride swelled in his chest.
"Let's eat." He murmured, licking Dew's ear and leading her down to the other dogs.

Takoda lay in the shade of a large oak tree, watching the camp around him. His gaze made it's way to the Alpha's den, where his brother and his brother's mate stood. He smiled, he was so glad his brother had found his place in this pack.
His gaze then swivveled to the sound of pawsteps and he noticed the hunting patrol had arrived back.
Better wait for Alpha to decide who eats first today.

Dew happily tore into the food, silently thanking Benedictus for his generosity to her. He was such a loyal pack member. Dew felt a little queasy after eating so quickly, but brushed it away, sure it was nothing. She then curled up into a comfortable position and started sleeping.

Sora excitedly lined up for the prey, her eyes darting on its hipbone to its stomach. When it was finally her turn, Sora picked the hipbone, and looked around for a place to eat. Everyone but Misu, their pack leader, was here. Where was he? She spotted Teja sitting by the sow. "Mind if I join you?" She asked softly.

As Tracka tore up his deer neck-piece to smitherines, his visions came back, and he slumped on the floor, looking lifeless, dreaming of that day...
He was running through the forest, his sister close at his sky, as they ran from their evil owner that didn't feed them for days if they made dirt in his garden. now he had a sharp metal gadget he was using to try to cut, them and then, at the very last second-
Tracka woke up with a start. he sighed, and continued on his meal while everyone watched in wonder.

Stifling a chuckle the male turned to Misu and softly barked," I hope I'm not intruding, but I wanted to bring young Dew something healthy. And of course make a short report." He sat down making sure his voice was quiet as to not wake Dew. "I'm taking Rasha to do some training after she eats, might take a few others that want to join in. Rikiar, Teja and I caught a boar so there should be enough for everyone to eat at least for now. I planning on doing a short patrol after training as well..." He paused, glancing between the two dogs he continued," If that's okay."

Grinning the female chewed on the rib, softly growling. Rasha looked up and over at Rikiar then asked," What do you think he'll teach me today, big bro?" Her tail was still wagging excitedly, as she imagined what she' be taught. " A death blow? Defense? Offense?" Her stomach rumbled once more, causing her to quiet down and look back down at her meal. She pouted for a heart-beat then wolfed down what she could, gnawing on the bone.

As soon as he was able Rikiar lunged for the small intestine, and a chew chucks of meat. Before he could even take a bite out of them though, Rasha looked up and spoke. He let out a hum then said," Well if you've progressed like me..." He again paused when she spoke again and snorted rudely and barked," You're still a long way from that, Rash. I'd say probably a few months away. You'll probably be working on defense first. You are just starting the fighting portion of your fighting right?" When he was done talking the male slowly started to eat, not wanting to up-set his stomach.

Glancing up from her meal the older female glanced at the young husky and smiled," Don't mind at all Sora. There's no need to ask you know, I don't bite." She paused then teasingly added," Much." Glancing back down at her food the tri-colored she-dog chuckled then ripped a piece of tender meat off the leg, and began chewing it. Swiftly wolfing it down, the lean female looked up, and glanced around camp, spotting Takoda but not his brother Misu. Teja hadn't really met Takoda, and didn't really know his brother all that well. Maybe she'd go introduce herself later.

Dew awoke slowly, the air cool around her. She saw Benedictus and jumped. ‘What’s he doing here?’ She thought, but took this as a chance to thank him for the meal. She stood up, but her weight doubled on her and she collapsed. Pain struck her side. She gasped. What was happening?

Sora gratefully sat down next to the calm wolf and started gnawing on her piece of meat, feeling he juices trickle down her throat. She licked her chops. Just what to make her day. She sighed as she thought about how horrible she had been at running. It was her favorite thing to do, especially because her brother used to do it. She scrunched her eyes shut. She and her brother had been playing around a large log. I bet I can beat your running record he had howled, and had taught her how to measure her speed with he breeze. Ever since he had almost certainly died, she had kept doing the game everyday until she was tired. No one, or so she thought, knew about this. Not even her sister, the alpha. And so far, she hadn’t made it to his record which was 3 beats. She had to keep trying. She wouldn’t rest until she reached 2 beats.
“I gotta go. Thanks for letting me sit with you.” She mumbled to Teja, then left her bone with the curious looking wolf and ran straight into the trees.
