Reason you want it: I've seen many Zvers here, and I've been silently stalking this thread. Mostly because Metta has some of the most fantastic ideas ever, in my opinion. So, I sat here and watched the thread's activity, and all the new Zvers.
I always felt my heart drop whenever I saw the new Zvers. I had never felt a connection. Not with one.
Then, when this set was released, I immediately got excited.
I loved every. single. one.
It was like Metta made them all so unbelievable just to annoy the crap out of me. >.>
I then looked at their personalities, and immediately thought of a story for all of them, but the one that stood out to me most was this girl's.
Little Mya.
I hope you (whoever is judging) enjoys reading this form as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Personality:
Mya is very insecure. She is unsure of every movement she makes, fearing the opinion of others. Her greatest fear is being judged for a movement she did publicly wrong, something she said that others didn't approve of. She wants to be accepted, as she's felt she hasn't been her whole life.
Mya is rarely ever truly happy, and when she is, she's scared to be at the same time. She's never really angry either, just sad all the time. There's never a time when she feels confident. She always needs someone else's opinion. In her opinion, nothing is ever really easy, so therefore, everything must be hard.
Mya doesn't hang out with a lot of other living things-other than plants and such. That's why she was so surprised when she found Kabe, but that's only part of the story. Anyway. She's never had many friends, except Kabe.... On with the rest.
Introduction/Story:
The moonlight showered the ground with golden specks. The night was clear, with almost no clouds. It was peaceful, with an occasional breeze every so often. There was no movement. And suddenly-a blur.
With her quick feet, a young Zver dashed through the trees. It seemed as if she could go on forever. Instead, she turned, and slowly, walked back towards the gate leading to the Zver company. She didn't look like she wanted to go back-it was as if she were forced against her own will back to the direction of the gate.
"What a waste," she muttered to herself, sitting down and glaring at her paws hopelessly. "All that work to escape, and I can't even make myself leave." The stars shone brighter, and she turned her head to look through the holes in the gate.
The gate itself was made of wood, but the rest of the fence was brick. It was intimidating for anyone who didn't know where they were. And for anyone who did... It was a nightmare.
Especially for a Zver.
The young female shook her head and turned back to her paws. "What a waste I am," she whispered again. "What a waste." She shook her head, thinking about something. "What did they call me?" she wondered to herself. "I lack being able to remember now."
An image flickered into her head.
There were two figures. A small female Zver, and a tall, blonde boy. They were in a kitchen it seemed. He was feeding her treats.
"You want one?" he teased, pulling his hand away whenever the Zver tried to snatch a snack. "No, no," he said. "Sit."
The Zver sat.
"Stay."
The Zver didn't move a muscle.
"Good." The boy tossed her a treat. "That's enough for today." He sat, and twisted his legs into 'criss-cross-applesauce' position. He smiled at the creature, and she bounded up to him happily. He laughed. "You're a sweet girl," he told her. She turned her head up, and licked his nose. He chuckled, and scratched her ears. "You're like the dog I never had. Only better." Content, the Zver rested her head on his lap.
"Yep. I love you so much. You're such a good girl Mya."
Mya.
"That's what they had called me," she said quietly. "That's what he had called me." She looked down sadly. "I miss him," she told herself after a minute. "He is the only one."
Shaking her head, she stood up. Then, without warning, she bolted into the woods again, fur ruffled. She ran and ran, racing as hard as her paws could, which were aching with every step. Every prickle caused blood, every breath caused heartache.
Heartache, heartache. What a word.
She continued running until she felt she could run no more. Huffing, she sat next to a log, and looked up to see how far she'd gotten. How far she'd come to getting away.
The gate.
She could still see the gate.
"No," she gasped.
Another flashback.
"CC1033!"
It was hectic. There was crashing and alarms, screaming even. Mya was being dragged into the scientist's room. She hated it with all her guts. She would gladly give up her life to just get out. It took two grown men on either side of her to get her onto the operation table. "CC1033!" the main scientist screamed again.
"We've got her, we've got her," one of the men panted.
"Good." The scientist nodded as they strapped her to the table. There were leather straps that held her paws and tail down, letting only her head thrash around. "We need to test her blood rate."
Pain in her eyes, Mya spotted the blonde boy in the back of the room. It hurt her to see him there, arms crossed and standing next to the other man who'd carried her there. "This place reminds me of the laboratory in the movie 'Underdog,'" he said, though it was barely a whisper.
"Shut up, Kabe," the man said.
Kabe shook his head. "No. You know what? I'm not going to shut up. Let her go."
For the first time since he'd started his work, the scientist looked up. "What?"
"Let. My Mya. Go. She obviously doesn't enjoy it there."
"I can't do that," sputtered the scientist.
"Yes you can. Just like this." Kabe walked up, and unstrapped Mya's right paw strap. He was about to undue the other one, but the man that he'd been standing next to him grabbed him from behind.
"Kabe, what the hell?"
Even though he'd only unstrapped one, it was enough. With one paw, Mya was able to rip off the other belt straps. She jumped off the table, the scientist screaming, and Kabe yelling, "Run Mya, run!" With one glance left at Kabe, she took off through the revolving door.
This had been two days ago. And Kabe still hadn't come.
Mya sighed, teary eyed, and padded hesitantly back to the gate. This darn gate. This had been the worst gate she'd ever known.
She missed Kabe.
Just then, a shooting star fell from the sky. By falling, it seemed to echo her sadness.
"I have no wish," she said blandly. "My worst dreams have already come true."
And she sat.
...
And then-a voice.
"Mya!"
It was from a distance away, but she'd recognize it any second. Howling, she pulled herself up. She spun around and around, trying to find him and-there. To her left.
She whistled gleefully, and ran, seeing him as she flung herself with joy into Kabe's open arms.
