|| A Fresh Start || Ending Winter |Ｗａｙ Ｄｏｗｎ Ｗｅ Ｇｏ



Starting off a new day and a new life. Things have been weird since well for a long time. My father moved us out into countryside after my mother passed away. We moved into this old country house next to this lake and this forest. The house was old but even though it had been abandon it was still filled with love and once good times. Quite, like how I felt. Neither of us could stand to be in our old house... after well you know. So, we have to move get a new scenery change. We moved to a place where no one ever knew us. Into a small town with a small population. We moved to a little town where Oregon and California. Where the coastlines met the deep forest. There was a small pond near my house a short walk away. The pound was full of light pink and purple pastel lilies. The lilies in the pound reminded me of my mother's eyes and how soft they were. We had left pretty much everything behind us. The most important items of which were her necklace and my violin.

I sat outside of the cabin as the wind blew through my fur, whispering to me. I grabbed my violin as I made my way through the grass clawed it's way up to the sun. I reach the pound as I gazed back at my reflection, I could see myself and my mother by my side. I knew that she would always be with me in my heart and that she loved me. The winter of the dying and dead was now passing on and the spring of healing and hope came and warmed my cold bones. I found myself at an everlasting peace as I gazed into that pound and then the rising sun. The sky filled with the pastel candy colors of the world, I played the next song "Here Comes the Sun".

The flowers began to blossom around the house filling the air with a sense of peace and calm. I still felt hopelessly lost as I pondered my way through the daisies, roses, and sunflowers. The restless ache in my heart would take a break when I would pounder my way through the flowers. They grew wildly and in harmony with the world. They stretched there petals up to the sun dancing in her raise of glory. And reaching their roots deep within the Earth which had allowed them to grow in the first place. I would have picnics here sketching and playing my violin. It was beautiful and a place of harmony. The wind wasn't the harsh whisper that it use to be but now more of soft cooing notes of some old love song.

I will never forget my mother, nor the pain of losing her. But, I still have my father who might not be perfect is still a wonderful father. Together we have made a life here in this small town. I had made friends who deeply cared for me, I have grown as a person, and I have found a way to live with my pain. I am happy... even though it feels weird to say it. I know that everything will be okay and my mother is guarding me. I have done great things with my music and my talent with my violin. Maybe, it will lead somewhere. Till then I am going to stay strong and try to live like the flowers, in harmony.

Lydik
A passionate dancer with a big heart

Lydik is a professional dancer and entertainer who carries a lot of confidence. He is never seen without a smile, and his absolute favourite thing in life is making others smile as well. (Dancing is a close second.)
No matter where he is or what the situation, Lydik always finds a way to brighten the mood. When one of his friends is sad, they go to Lydik, because he is always the first to get them to smile again.

He is also excellent at boosting confidence, as Asher can easily vouch for.

Shy and anxious by nature, Asher's friends barely convinced him to get out in the first place. He would not have come at all, had they told him they were going to a massive party with dancing, karaoke, and a hundred other things that caused Asher stress. He tried to leave as soon as he got there, but being that his friends were concerned with him being locked up in his house so often, he was instead shoved onto the dance floor.

The worst moment of Asher's night was standing in the middle of the dance floor, stiff and awkward and too afraid to move while it felt like everyone was looking at him.

But the worst moment of someone's night is sometimes followed by the best.

Three words introduced him to the most wonderful someone he would ever meet.

"Care to dance?"

Lydik had no ability to see someone upset and lonely. Offering a paw to Asher was one of the best decisions he made, and he was rewarded with his favourite smile, followed by the best answer. Lydik's sweet and gentle nature there seemed like such a far cry from his stage personality. He could read emotions with ease and his kindness was enough to make Asher's anxieties melt away.

"Yes."

Their dance started that night, and continued for years after.

Lydik proposed ten months later. Asher's answer was the same.
