- Name You'd Choose for It: Silver Moon
Gender: I oddly think Male would fit.
Reason You Want It: His design is overall nice, simple, and something that isn't flooding CS's forums. I rather like his design, and It was just a small mental click that made me go for him. ^^ He is rather a character I can make a story or two out of. He would also be my third cat character. I dont make cats that often. (: But not only his design or being a cat, but I think I can provide a nice home for him, along with some personal fanart.
Personality: Silver is a rather quiet soul, and usually by himself. He isn't the outcast type, just naturally shy. Silver isn't only shy, he is also a bit outgoing and would rather be out doing his daily medleys then slouch around inside. He isn't the very talkative type, so he makes it awkward when alone with someone.
Silver looks at things differently when it comes to the world around him. Unusual things appear before the normal do. Like a Zebra; white and black stripes. But Silver would be the one to pop with black and white stripes. He is usually the thinker in problems; he more often thinks inside the box and easily becomes confused. But thats just a detail; he usually makes up a whole plot on a little issue. Silver is rather vindictive at times. He really is the mean kinda though; but he snaps rather quickly on the inside. He is very poor at expressing his feelings as quickly as other's do. He wasn't a cry baby when he was little, just a slow thinker. But he was a calm kitten.
Silver's adventurous side is rather joyous, and makes him complete. It kinda evens him out. He's a silent, odd-ball adventurer. He is always up to challenges, even if he doesn't seem so enthusiastic. He loves stories too; it's what makes him dream of these silly journeys, and life stories are even more of a treasure to him.
Height: A mere foot. He is rather lanky for his height, most likely from his hybrid-like traits. [Mutt wise]
Weight: A slight bit over 9lbs 12oz. He is rather scrawny. He isnt very weak, rather agile.
Length: One and a half foot, if including tail. His body alone would be a range around 12-13inches.
Build: Silver's Build is very average. He has no specialty in his muscles, and looks around an average house cat. Compared to most though, Silver does seem a bit strangely bony. He isnt the sickly bony, you cant even notice a rib or two. He is just naturally skinny, due to healthy meals on daily catches.
Fur: Silver Moon's fur is rather shiny since he tries to live healthy in what he finds on the street, but it is a bit snarled and slightly matted at certain spots. Overall his fur is clean, and rather smooth. But his sin produces oil from what he eat's causing his fur to stick up a bit when rubbed the wrong way. Thus is causes him to fuss over his back fur.
Marking Origins: Silver got his markings from a mix of his father and his mother. His father was more of a dark midnight purple, his fur sheen was the light pink his fur owns. His father though had much distant marking's than his son's, and they look almost as if they could be strangers to each other. His mother though, has the base idea of the markings. But her color was a more pink color, and her markings were more of a creme and white. But overall her pattern and design could be identical besides the spatters of white creme at her rump. He is a real outcome of a family, anyone could tell from the parent's mingling design concept.
Eyes: His eyes are a crystal blue, rather clear and very bright. His pupil is always a dark black, and it gets a shiny grey haze in a bright light. His eye's have a light-dark gradient of ocean and crystal blue, and it's naturally flecked with clear white and an even light blue [almost a pale neon blue]. Both left and right are identical in color form.
Likes/Dislikes: He loves to star gaze. Silver is always up to going outside, wether it's raining, snowing, or it's dying hot out. He enjoys a swim or two in warm weather, and he enjoys huddling with a friend or a few on a chilly day. Silver is always enjoying his life. Nothing is wrong with it. He loves it. He enjoys making friends laugh, and even making himself giggle.
But surprisingly he has a few dislikes. As one definite, its being rubbed the wrong way. Silver is naturally kind, and he becomes nervous around a threat. Not because he's scare, but he isnt used to retorting anything mean. His life was loving. He barely heard harsh words in his life time. He doesnt enjoy the thought of when he was a kit. He left his parents early, and he had some bumps along the way. But it's what shaped his life. Even though he doesnt like remembering that pain, he is happy about what it did to form him.

History/Background/Other: Silver grew as a very different sibling in his litter. He wasnt picked on, nor made fun of. He was the normal; he was rather the joker. But of course times change. Having to leave quickly at an early age, Silver partially got lost and partially abandoned in a way. It wasn't an easy thing on him, he grew up struggling on food and shelter, and emotional issues formed. Of course, he came to a mature age to understand no one was coming for him. It was as if he didnt exist. But things happen. Stuff is found, and people are met.
Silver met a small and sickly black tabby female who was small, rather scrawny. Her name was Petal, a name given to her since she was a bright as one. But she was also emotionally sick. She had half her silver and black face destroyed from a fight. She cant remember much of anything from the scene. But her image of her clean speckled face haunts her. She wants to throw out her name. Not have one. She says she isnt bright a petal, she now sulking like a wilting rose. Not a free spirit like she used to be.
Silver was a changer her life though. Silver was like a hero to her- he showed her the good things about herself. Silver actually felt inclined to Petal- as if he was meant to be on this earth for her. But Silver fears he might do something wrong. He is alway nervous like that though.
Silver Moon nursed Petal back to both physical and emotional health rather quickly, and he was falling for her too. The small and delicate female was someone with a history like his- tragic. Alone. Yet something good both came into their lives; each other.
Silver faced lots of consequences in life. Lots of bad thing, good things. It shaped him to the way he is, like a rock in rain being pelted down to a smaller form of itself. Silver made his way though. He smiles through the bad times, and he keeps his chin up. He was happy. He was able to live.
Short Chunk of his Memory:
Glittering rain dabbled against the moist and marshy earth. Wet and glistening fur smeared against the leaves of the under brush, the branches smacked forward after released from hind legs. Silver's icy eyes kept downwards, watching the mucky dirt and rainwater rush through his toes as he sloshed in the mush.
The soft percussion of the rain and slightly vocal thunder was relaxing in a way- apart from so many city light's and home porch lights. Not only that, the rough squeaking of tires on a car as it drove past the busy roads. Not to mention the insanely annoying shouting of human kids sloshing in the rain. It was a difficulty trying to avoid them; and everything else.
Softly, Silver stopped. He couldnt keep trotting like this so quickly. The ground became even more soggy as he went; he'd have to stop. Quickly he interviewed his surroundings. Moist sopping brush devoured him, soaking him to the bone. Rain pelted the ground rather harshly. He was at a dead end of the neighborhood trying to get out. Five houses ringed the end, and rang back up the street. Of course, fences upon fences were lined behind each human den, making it even harder to get out.
Dogs were commonly found, along with a few house cats- oh house cats. Snobbiest here. A few even territorial. But it wasn't his problem here. Quietly in a stiff motion, Silver skittered across the muddy and rocky clearing, and dodged through a little more underbrush. He came to a slippery patio. A table with five chairs stacked up lined against the house, along with a door lit with a fake, unnatural light, was viewable. Quickly, Silver felt his heart flutter as he trotted across the wet asphalt onto of the muddy grass and dirt. Quietly, he came to the trees, and stepped rather rapidly over the small white metal fence used for gardens.
No turning back! He smiled inwardly rather joyous to get out of this hostile neighborhood. With a jump, the slinky purple cat felt his paws dash from under him. Murmuring a rather happy "Off-to-merry-" it was cut short. As he reared to the tail of a small scraggly scrap of black fur, her saw a faint glint of bright amber eyes between crevasses of closed eyelids.
A grunt of discomfort suddenly escaped Silver's dried throat. "I.." he muttered, a little confused. Then his brow lowered to a squint as he hurled his body over the small female. Why would such a thing be out here? Drinking in the wet moist scent of fur, there was no noticeable scent of death, or rotting skin. He stared down at the small furry black stomach. It barely rose, and lowered in a rhythmical pattern. Is it dying? he sniffed again, finally speaking. "H-..How ya doin'?" he muttered, bending down once more towards the face of the furry, scrappy female. A Moment of silence was followed by the pattering rain's rhythm. Then a cold small nose poked at the female' fuzzy black cheek. "Hello..?"
Nothing more than the squeaky silence of rain. Only a surpassing sigh barely escaped the small cat's throat. Rather coolly, Silver sat down with his streaked tail curled neatly around him. Apart from the stranger breathing; it was basically dead. It didnt smell like it was rotting though; nor decaying into the marshy dirt. But the matted fur and slight bones showing, it looked bedraggled and worn out. Depressed, almost.
With a feebly stand Silver gently dug his nose under the black cat, and pushed ever so slightly. Dramatically, it she rolled over. Suddenly Silver's icy flecked eyes widened in horror and pity. The cat's face was impaled, it's eye socket almost clawed closed. It's nose was partially destroyed by a bloody's scar, and the rest was crusty dried blood being washed out by the rain. "Hhggnn!" The sudden small voice screeched as the rain dabbled onto the sore, raw skin. She curled up in a wave of pain; Silver could tell as her fur rose. As an instinct, he stepped over her; face to face to stop the rain from touching her.
"So you where awake." His voice murmured, cackled out by a low tuned rumble of thunder. The cat's lips curled in a sour-like motion, as if in horrid pain. "I've got to get you out of here.." He muttered. As the she-cat let out a few cries of pain and some rustles of dirt between her claws, Silver gently puckered out his's teeth and softly grabbed her scruffy neck. Her fur smelt pungent, as is rolling in ivy and rotting decay. Wrinkling his nose, he part-way dragged her into a thicket of brush, trying to find anywhere but here.
A flash of pale blue light dazzled against the rainy drops of water on their fur and surroundings, lighting the place for no more than a second. Instantly a cackle of echoes and a another low tuned rumbled escaped the crack of light. Silver's fur jumped across his back, his eyes fluttering open as fast as his heart started to beat. The she-cat also jumped, and a high pitched mewed was rattled out of her.
