The two cats spat at one another, fur that was beginning to loose its kitten softness raised and and backs that were lengthening and widening arched. They showed no signs of giving in, one as unbreakable as a rush and the other as stubborn as an ox. It was a vicious fight, as most fights borne of love are, and already bloodied tails were being trodden on.
"Maybe we should try it separately for a bit. See which one of us it right."
"Fine."
"Double fine." And the two cats turned away.
