I had another idea for a species, so here's a quick sketch! Still a work in progress, working on the clean lines now c: I believe I'm done with these lines! I'm just cleaning up the spots where the color went outside the lines for the child. But while I do that, here's my checklist (mostly for myself to make sure I did everything I wanted to):

• Adult Lines + Child lines for the nursery
  
• Posed lines
  
• Adults feature a stone of some sort under their foot, whether it be a rock or a gem
• Both have bands on their tails
• Face reference + palette
• Separate and labeled layers
• Shading <-- needs to be done(?)
