How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
7
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
Between 1- 12 sometimes more if I'm at the computer all day.
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them.
No i Haven't.
Have you participated in many roleplays outside of CS before? If there's any places in particular, please link to them.
Yes i have (although most are more, adult sites, so i would rather not post them in case someone underage should click them ^^')
Have you participated in many roleplays on CS before?
I used to roleplay quite a lot so yes.
Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS?
I think helping to keep the forum clean and safe for younger members is a high priority for me, they shouldn't be exposed to any mature content and I would like to help make sure Chicken Smoothie stays a safe fun place for people to use. Sensitive material is a big problem all over the internet and it would please me if i could help keep it away from our forums.
I enjoy role plays and am always looking for a good one to join, sadly it seems all to often roleplays are ruined by consistent spam and arguing from both the role players and often people who aren't even accepted to the role play. It gets annoying for the players and hopefully if selected i can help to keep the level of spam down and keep the role plays running smoother.
All in all i just want to help make sure this site stays a happy and enjoyable site for the members who use it, and help the team who have watched over us so far and given us so many hours of enjoyable time here.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you run your own roleplay website before, or have you had any experience in peer mediation?)
I am very literate and have taken creative writing courses in the past so i enjoy reading and writing, i think this will help in a position where i will be spending a lot of time reading through role plays and checking posts.
I have a mature attitude and it takes a lot to offend me so i don't mind looking through sensitive material or dealing with arguments. I feel maturity is a very important thing to have when moderating, when sorting arguments I think keeping a level head and sorting things out quickly and as calmly as possible is the best thing for it. Not to get drawn into arguments yourself.
I have also taken a course on mediation in under 16's to help me in my riding teaching work, i feel this could aid me in helping to clear up arguments quickly and avoid lengthy arguments that create not only a huge amount of spam and unnecessary posting, but also may cause upset to any one of the user's involved in the conflict.
