1. What date did you register as a CS member?:
27 September 2008
2. How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
7189
3. Without posting your actual age, are you old enough to apply for this position?:
Yes
4. How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
7, I get on every day unless I do not have internet access.
5. How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
3-6
6. Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
Yes, but the site never took off so there was really no need for me before the owner gave up on it.
7. Have you participated in many roleplays outside of CS before? If there's any places in particular, please link to them.
Yes, I usually roleplay on a site called Subeta.net. I used to roleplay there a lot, but at the moment I am participating in one 1x1 there that has been going for over a year.
8. Have you participated in many roleplays on CS before?
Yes, I usually try to stick to semi-literate roleplays, but I do participate in others when I find a plot that looks interesting.
9. Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS?
Roleplaying is one of my passions. I absolutely love both reading and writing. So putting the two together to make a story with other people made roleplaying into one of my very favourite forms of writing. I believe that a love of reading and writing is important for this position. Without them, how can anyone possibly expect to enjoy doing the job, and actually do it right?
Chickensmoothie is my favourite website. It is the only site that I get on every day and actually feel like a part of the community. I would consider it an honour to work as one of the staff in the position that I believe I would enjoy the most and the one that I know I can do the best.
I want to be able to help protect the users of CS against mature content that is not welcome on this site (and in my opinion shouldn’t be welcome on any site for that matter). As a roleplay moderator, I would do my best to keep an eye on the roleplays to cut down on both spam and mature content. I would also do my best to uphold the rules of the roleplay boards and help keep CS roleplaying an enjoyable and entertaining experience for everyone.
10. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required)
I am a very patient person. I am also a pacifist 95% of the time. I don’t take sides and know how to stay calm, even in difficult or upsetting situations.
I’m also looking into a career as an English teacher. I believe that my skills in English will aide me in this position as I help to protect all users against questionable and mature content that is not welcome here.
Even if I do not receive this position, I am grateful for the opportunity to make a greater difference on this site and I wish everyone who applies the best of luck!
