1. What date did you register as a CS member?:
27 September 2008

2. How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
7189

3. Without posting your actual age, are you old enough to apply for this position?:
Yes

4. How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
7, I get on every day unless I do not have internet access.

5. How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
3-6

6. Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
Yes, but the site never took off so there was really no need for me before the owner gave up on it.

7. Have you participated in many roleplays outside of CS before? If there's any places in particular, please link to them.
Yes, I usually roleplay on a site called Subeta.net. I used to roleplay there a lot, but at the moment I am participating in one 1x1 there that has been going for over a year.

8. Have you participated in many roleplays on CS before?
Yes, I usually try to stick to semi-literate roleplays, but I do participate in others when I find a plot that looks interesting.

9. Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS?
Roleplaying is one of my passions. I absolutely love both reading and writing. So putting the two together to make a story with other people made roleplaying into one of my very favourite forms of writing. I believe that a love of reading and writing is important for this position. Without them, how can anyone possibly expect to enjoy doing the job, and actually do it right?
Chickensmoothie is my favourite website. It is the only site that I get on every day and actually feel like a part of the community. I would consider it an honour to work as one of the staff in the position that I believe I would enjoy the most and the one that I know I can do the best.
I want to be able to help protect the users of CS against mature content that is not welcome on this site (and in my opinion shouldn’t be welcome on any site for that matter). As a roleplay moderator, I would do my best to keep an eye on the roleplays to cut down on both spam and mature content. I would also do my best to uphold the rules of the roleplay boards and help keep CS roleplaying an enjoyable and entertaining experience for everyone.

10. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required)
I am a very patient person. I am also a pacifist 95% of the time. I don’t take sides and know how to stay calm, even in difficult or upsetting situations.
I’m also looking into a career as an English teacher. I believe that my skills in English will aide me in this position as I help to protect all users against questionable and mature content that is not welcome here.

Even if I do not receive this position, I am grateful for the opportunity to make a greater difference on this site and I wish everyone who applies the best of luck!

1.What date did you register as a CS member?: (if it's less than 6 months ago, do not apply) August 28, 2008.
2.How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): (if it's less than 300, do not apply) 763
3.Without posting your actual age, are you old enough to apply for this position?: (Do NOT apply if you are 15 or younger, no excuses.) Yes.
4.How many days a week do you usually visit CS? All of them, usually, unless I am sick or extremely busy at school.
5.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? Usually around 2-4.
6.Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them. I am soon to moderate on Cat's Paw Island(which is a chatsite, bot a forum), but have not been elevated just yet. I've also modded on now dead and moved roleplay sites. Link: http://www.catspawisland.com/
7.Have you participated in many roleplays outside of CS before? If there's any places in particular, please link to them. Only dead sites.
8.Have you participated in many roleplays on CS before? Somewhat. I have a few of my own that I roleplay in alot, and I'm starting to branch out. I roleplay in a private one aswell. I am only advanced and semi advanced. I prefer to post over 6 sentences per post, aswell, if you'd enjoy details.
9.Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS? Over time I've come to really pay attention to rules. I now have a hawk's eye for peope who are not doing as told, or breaking rules. I also am impatient when I cannot help in many ways, and cool down much easier when I can do something about it. I am harsh, and do not feel guilty for reporting someone I may have roleplayed with, know, and so on. Also, it seems to be an enjoyable job! It would keep me sharp in the subject awsell. Also, from having writing, art, characters, and ideas stolen, I'm vicious in the subject and will not tolerate any theft.
10.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you run your own roleplay website before, or have you had any experience in peer mediation?) My mother is a therapist, so I have learned some calming methods from her before. I used to run my own roleplay site, Lestaviore, which died out a little under a year ago. I also am a Grammar nazi, if that's a skill. x3

only if you can prove ownership of the previous account

Ooh. It's that time again. *gets pen to fill out form* =3

~What date did you register as a CS member?~ I joined on October 14, 2009 (One of the best days of my life)

~How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying)~ I've made 1607 posts. Not a lot for the time that I've been here, but I'm more of a thread reader than a poster. S'just who I am ^^

~Without posting your actual age, are you old enough to apply for this position?~ Yes I am... I fell old <=c

~How many days a week do you usually visit CS~ Everyday. If I don't at least get on to check my posts, I get all jittery and anxious.

~How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?~ On a good day? Maybe 6-10 hours doing oekaki, prowling threads, check up on stuff and stuff. On a bad day (AKA- the days where homework overflows) perhaps 3-5 hours.

~Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them~ I have prowled other forums before, but never stuck with them just because they were never like CS. So, no, no I haven't.

~Have you participated in many roleplays outside of CS before? If there's any places in particular, please link to them.~ I have, but none of them ever lasted for very long. Mainly because the reason above- they just weren’t the same as the ones here.

~Have you participated in many roleplays on CS before?~ Oh Yeah. I never really had a thing for it when I first joined, but after I reluctantly joined my first one, I was hooked. Sadly, it didn't hold on. I have made my own RPs (one which didn't hold either) and joined others in the past. I haven't joined one in a while because I haven't found one that has met my "standards" (I'm just so picky when it comes to Grammar and theme); but I continue to roam the threads, reading and looking.

~Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS?~ Because CS is such an amazing place! It deserves to be safe and protected from things that could harm it or the people on it. I would hate to see anything bad happen here. Also, Kaycee is doing this work all by her lonesome. I think that she needs help and believe that I could help her and everyone else on staff. Why else? Hmm... Because I know what it's to be bullied or have art theft and that’s the last thing I want for anyone. I have solved some disputing problems within my own RP and I can't stand it when someone posts inappropriate things here. Why would you do that?! So, yeah. Keeping CS safe is something close to my heart.

~Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you run your own roleplay website before, or have you had any experience in peer mediation?)~ Psh... I have trouble listing skills because I always feel like I don't have any. Well.... I guess I do have some peer mediation experience. I have stopped fights between my friends and often am asked to solve matters in real life. I'm very mature (if you can call that a skill). Um... I'm very easy to talk to. I excel at Grammar. *ponders* Like I said, I have trouble. If you get to know me well enough, you usually can see skills that I never thought I had... Or at least that's what I was told. ^^'

Thank you guys for reading my application. I know that you guys have a lot better things to do and read, so I thank you that you took time out to read mine. I also believe that whatever decision you make, is for the benefit of CS ^^ Thank you all!

1. What date did you register as a CS member?: March 2nd 2010
2. How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 622
3. Without posting your actual age, are you old enough to apply for this position?: Yes
4. How many days a week do you usually visit CS? 7
5. How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? 4-5
6. Have you moderated on any other forums before? No
7. Have you participated in many roleplays outside of CS before? Yes. Hollow Life Wild Equines v2 Various rp forums on "MSN Groups" (which have since been abolished by MSN).
8. Have you participated in many roleplays on CS before? No
9. Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS? I wish to become a roleplay moderator for Chicken Smoothie because I feel that I can commit the time and effort into keeping the younger players safe from excess and help to neaten/organize the boards.
10. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position I have experience in running a role play forum. I used to own two or three of them when MSN groups still existed and I also help out where I can on Hollow Life as one of my good friends owns it. I'm very strict on both myself and others when it comes to crediting on various types of art. I am very sure I understand what is and what is not appropriate for the age group pertaining to this site. I also take pride in how thorough and accurate I am when dealing with issues.

I have a question, but please don't think I'm one of these: Can one apply for this job if they are under 16 years but are comfortable with the 'lots of violence and romance' thing?

If you are not 16, don't apply. This is one of the criteria regardless of your comfort zone towards these things.

I belive the question is:
Nals wrote:Can one apply for this job if they are under 16 years but are comfortable with the 'lots of violence and romance' thing?

And I'm almost certain the answer is a no.
