To quote Karmel:
Karmel wrote:To adopt a Kalon simply click on one of the adoptables on the front page and see if the competition is open. In the main post there will be details about the contest and how to win. Each contest is different and each artist will judge based on different things, which will usually be detailed in the contest guidelines. Most contests involve filling out a form and with the form with the best idea, art, or writing is picked as the winner. It all depends on the specific adopt! If you're unsure of what to do with your forms, you can take a look at some finished competitions and see what the winning forms look like to get ideas.
Runner Ups (RUs) are sometimes awarded, as well as Honorable Mentions (HMs) which can be collected and redeemed for custom adopts. In the main post of this thread, under the header image, there is a directory of links to the various Kalon threads such as the Fanclub, Nursery, and Customs thread. I suggest taking a look at the Fanclub to see what everyone is up to!

You'd apply the edit and then get approval from staff! Make sure to include proof of owning the item in the description of where it's applied. uvu

Question: how do the rolls work when a rare breeding mutation item is used in a breeding?

Work the same as rolling for if only one parent has the trait so
60 and under for standard
50 and under for common
30 and under for uncommon
And 10 and under for rare

trans wrote:hi ! just wondering if it's possible to "change" an edit to one of a lesser rarity, by using an edit item? to explain what i mean, i have a kal here that i want to possibly give longer fur to (mainly on the front legs, which also happens to be where the short fur edit is), but would i need to get an item to remove the short fur edit, then apply the long fur edit, or could i just use a long fur edit item and replace the short fur instead? i vaguely remember someone asking a similar question in relation to standard hair vs common hair, but i cant find it :")
they/he, adult, pms are okay!
just here for pets, oekaki, and

Making a kalon sterile is purely up to the owner of the kalon; you do not have to keep a kalon sterile if you do not want to. (Or on the flip-side, you can make your kalon sterile if you feel it fits their character). It's similar to "PPS" kalons; it's the owner's choice about whether or not the kalon is that or not.
