Royal Kalt Ponies are a breed of draft ponies. They get there name from being said to be owned, breed and sold by kings, the name Kalt comes from the Icelandic language which means cold, for the reason of this is because of how well they do in the cold and higher elevations. They are said to be a mix of the Noriker drafts and Icelandic ponies. They are closer to the size of a Icelandic, their average height is around 11-12hh high but they can reach well over that or well under that. They are a heavier structure but a quick and nimble. RKPs useually are seen with slight feathering and a puffy mane and tail if not cut. RKPs come in a variety of different colors and markings.

Hey everyone!
My name is Willow, and I'm the first mod here at Royal Kalts! So far, I have created this budding awesome thread full of cool people and made a couple of banners which are on the main adopt page! I've done quite a bit online in regards to forums and hope we can all make some awesome new friends and create an awesome atmosphere!
I live in Australia, so my timezones and posts are a little weird sometimes (time wise)! If you have private issues or questions that you'd like resolving or don't want to air here, just send me a PM and I'll get back to you ASAP!

i'm razzberry but you guys can call me razz. i'm the archivist for RKP's and am super excited to see this adopt and community grow!
i love meeting new people so if you ever wanna chat, slide into my pm's! ;p
now just a lil' bit about me:
i'm canadian and am currently in college studying animal care with hopes to go into animal rescue or
exotic animal medicine...or just about anything to do with animals hahaa
i have a mutt named rocky (he's a red heeler x pitbull x boxer mix but he's got lab and a bunch of other breeds in him)
and a chinese water dragon named levi :p

- this is a hard one because i have soo many! at the moment my favourite breed is the irish draught, they are just stunning horses o.o

- another hard question! i'd have to say any types of pintaloosa's

Also, can agree that Irish Draughts are beautiful, but that just choosing ONE breed is hard!!!
