ANNOUNCEMENT

_____Hello everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the Treasure Hunting so far! The random number generator was rather generous today, wasn't it? But that's not what I'm here to talk about. I have had a few ideas rattling around inside my head the last few days that I am kind of excited to share with ya'll, and I'd love to get some feedback from everyone who has been adopting from the PPAA and participating in the Treasure Hunting!

for you all to take part in THIS POLL.

What ideas do I have, you may ask?

_____The first idea is a 2 part idea in regards to the regular adoptable cats! I have been thinking of offering some cats for free. Any cats that go up for free will be simple, solid colored cats with a little airbrushing here and there to give them a bit of interest. If implemented, they'll go up as raffles where people enter and a random number generator is used to determine a winner from those who enter the raffle.
_____The second part of this idea is having some complex cats go up for auction. If implemented, some of the more complex cats will go up for auction with a starting bid of 5 C$. From there, people could up the bid by 1 C$ until the end date of the auction, and whoever has the highest bid in the end gets the cat and pays whatever amount of C$ they bid. I figured this would give more people a chance to get their hands on some of the more complex cats, which always seem to go SUPER fast.

_____My other idea, completely unrelated to adoption, is having an interactive thread with competitions that members can enter their cats into to try and win prizes. There would be 3 types of competitions to enter your cats into - Agility, Racing, and Show. Agility would be like dog agility races but with your cats. Racing would be the cats running from point A to point B in the shortest time. And Show would be like a typical cat show, where the cat who exhibits the best qualities of their breed wins.
_____In order to implement this, all current PPAA cats would be given Stats that would be used to determine their scores in the competitions, with each competition using a different set of Stats for scoring. Unfortunately, cats from the old Cheap Cat Designs for C$ would NOT be usable unless transferred to the new PPAA lineart, which is on a bribe me basis. There would also be items purchasable in the interactive competition thread that could be used to give your cats an advantage in the competitions. So in order to participate and have higher chances of winning, you'd need to use a little strategy to figure out what competitions your cats would be better at and maybe use items to increase your chances even further!

So if any of these ideas sound cool, please vote in the poll!

I voted in the poll! I really like those ideas. I also support the idea of a possible fanclub in the future, as mentioned on the first page. It could be a place where members can find others to breed their cats with (for when breeding is open), suggest ideas for the PPAA and future cats, and just discuss PPAA related things, where it wouldn't clog up the main thread.
