Gigils [gi·gil] are an omnivorous species with a body similar to a Dire Wolf. Though the meaning of the word is the irresistible urge to pinch or squeeze something or someone that is unbearably cute. Gigil's range in size from around the size of a Shiba Inu (35 to 43 cm at the shoulder) to a large Gray Wolf (105–160 cm at the shoulder). They have a hard beak at the tip of their muzzle similar to that of a Sea Turtle which is used to bite and tear into meat as well as crack open nuts. They also have large, fluffy ears that are sensitive to sound; Gigils use this to their advantage to catch small rodents buried underground or in the snow. Their large paws are good for trekking across any terrain and are able to make themselves comfortable in any given habitat. Gigils are known to be more active during the night hours since they have better sight at that time, though they can still be seen during the day. Gigils communicate with each other through a series of barking and yipping, often used during hunts and when communicating with their young.
