What is a Gigil?

Gigils [gi·gil] are an omnivorous species with a body similar to a Dire Wolf. Though the meaning of the word is the irresistible urge to pinch or squeeze something or someone that is unbearably cute. Gigil's range in size from around the size of a Shiba Inu (35 to 43 cm at the shoulder) to a large Gray Wolf (105–160 cm at the shoulder). They have a hard beak at the tip of their muzzle similar to that of a Sea Turtle which is used to bite and tear into meat as well as crack open nuts. They also have large, fluffy ears that are sensitive to sound; Gigils use this to their advantage to catch small rodents buried underground or in the snow. Their large paws are good for trekking across any terrain and are able to make themselves comfortable in any given habitat. Gigils are known to be more active during the night hours since they have better sight at that time, though they can still be seen during the day.
Gigils communicate with each other through a series of barking and yipping, often used during hunts and when communicating with their young.

Legendary:
-Two sets of wings, Hybrid/gene splicing, Extra heads (up to 2), Extra eyes (up to 6), Extra tails (up to 9), Plant growth, Powers/Magical qualities, Huge horns

Non-Rarity:
Heterochromia, Blindness, weight edits

★☆General Rules and Guidelines☆★

• Gigils are a closed species and therefore it's not permitted for a user to create their own adoptable, unless a staff member.
  
• Selling Gigils on or off the site for any sort of payment such as art, cs pets or any other form of currency is is unacceptable.
  
• You may Roleplay with your Gigil and have it as your fursona.
  
• Please don't minimod the thread.
  
• Do not claim another user's Gigil as your own.
  
• Please be kind and courteous to everyone, harassment within the species will not be tolerated, respect all Artists and their
  adopt competitions.

★☆Gigil References☆★

• You may not edit the lines of your Gigil (this includes all traits and colours). unless adding accessories, changing facial
  expressions. If you plan on adding scars or wounds to your Gigil please message a moderator or owner for approval.
  
• Please list all traits/edits of your Gigil on all pups and adopts.

★☆Breeding☆★

• Gigils are able to breed regardless of gender and sexual orientation, though incestuous relationships and relationships involving pups with adult are strictly prohibited.
  
• Gigils can breed up to 3 times in their lifespan, the breeding partner/mate doesn't have to be the same.
  
• Gigils can have up to 4 pups (number of pups is rolled randomly)

★☆Limitations☆★

• You can own up to 25 Gigils in total. This includes customs and those obtained from nursery batches.
  
• you must have owned a Gigil for 14 days (2 weeks) before you decide to trade it. You may trade once every 30 days.
  
• Users must wait at least 2 weeks before they decide to breed their Gigil.
  
• Pups are able to be grown 3 weeks after being posted.
  
• Users must wait a full month before they are able to breed their Gigil(s) again.

★☆Staff Rules☆★

• an artist may hold any type of competition for their adopts (ex: raffle, art, UL impress etc.)
  Rare Custom every month, though must still receive approval from owner(s) or moderator.

★☆Strikes and Bans☆★

Users will receive 3 strikes before they get banned. Banned users will be unable to participate in adopt comps, create customs and talk in the fan group; in severe cases, Gigils will be readopted.
