STOPRegarding Telepathy wrote:In my story, my Zver uses Telepathy. Before I decided to include this element, I contacted Metta asking for permission and explaining my reasoning. The reasoning behind what I gave Metta is multi-part. First of all, she was one of the few (or possibly only) Zvers smart enough to escape the crash before the scientists arrived. Second of all, I based it on her design element of the king cheetah, in that she was a more intelligent form of Zver "royalty" if you will - otherwise a higher more selected breed of Zver. Third of all, Amira spent some time in the wild and then in a Zoo before she was transported to the facility. This gave her plenty of time to spend exposed to the English language and allowed her to develop an understanding of it and be able to form her thoughts in English even. Fourth of all, there is one very special condition to her telepathy - she can only use it in connection with her bondmate. She knows this and therefore knows that she will be assured of knowing her bondmate by her ability to touch their mind with her words.
I am including a screenshot of Metta's permission PM for you to see, and remember, always ask Metta before including something in your story that is not in the Zver history!Username

As many of my CS friends know, my favorite animal
is the Snow Leopard. However, this was not always so.
Long ago, before I discovered the Snow Leopard, I still
had a fascination for big cats. My favorite was the cheetah,
and specifically the subspecies of king cheetah. When Metta
asked us for ideas help I thought almost nothing of including
one of my old favorites who was still close to my heart. And
when Metta posted the new batch I scrolled down to look -
little did I expect to see this beauty there! And when I did
I knew I would be in for yet another stressful week of form
writing and waiting for judgement. It was okay though.
Because as I stared at her, I knew that I had to make
her part of my new family, part of my more serious
collection of adoptables as characters. Not only was she
beautiful, she was elegant too. And I knew that she
would be the perfect companion to my Sintog, and that
she was definitely the right choice to make for one of
my three allowable adoptions.
So as I sat there working on my application, I came
to what might be one of the most important things,
this section. I looked over what I had written and
felt something was missing. Aside from my draw
to the design, I knew I liked Metta's description
of her. And then I realized what I was missing.
From the instant I saw her, the seed had been
planted. I had a story for her. And this story was
growing every moment in complexity. And that is
why I wanted her so bad - because I felt like I
already knew her. What You Intend To Do With Her
Knowing that my adoption limit for the Zvers is only three, I had already decided to be very particular about which ones I chose. So I decided that each Zver will get my best attention and that each one will get their own post on my Kit's Characters page. I intend to continue ordering fanart for her and possibly continue to write their joint story when I get more time after this semester. Once I get my third I even intend to try drawing art of them on my own, though I am not sure how well I will be able to draw Zvers very well. I will add friends and family to her form as she gains them, and keep her form updated as I go. I intend to work to the best of my ability to keep this thread looking nice and updated and keep my characters company. As she will be keeping Sintog company as his best friend.
Her Introduction/Story
I paced back and forth - well as much as this silly cell allowed me to. I did not like this new arrangement. It was bad enough I was stuck in this cage, but I rarely got to see a single human. How was I supposed to find my bondmate if I was trapped in this thing with no interaction? At least when I was staying at the zoo there was people coming and going all day so I could search. Otherwise I would have left - do they really think that silly open enclosure could have held me? But I tried to calm myself down. After all, after many days of being stuck here, I had finally figured out a way to escape. I just had to wait till night, when the staff was at it's lowest and most of the electricity was running on minimum. So finally I settled myself down in the back of my cell, curled up with my head on my paws, and closed my eyes to wait. Finally I was free. I shook myself as the door behind me slipped closed. It felt so nice to be outside in the fresh air again. I began to make my way south of the complex, slipping across the land faster and faster, like water rushing down a hill. The further away I got the more comfortable I felt. Finally, several hours later, I knew I was free. As long as I stayed clear of human dwelling, I knew the scientists would not be able to catch me. I shook my head slightly. I'd have to just be content with skirting the edges of the human society, casting out my silent call to all nearby and hoping that someone would hear it. I knew I had to find my bondmate. It was an instinct that drove us all. When it took too long, it led some to violence, and even drove some crazy. I looked over my shoulder to where I had come from and then bowed my head silently for a moment. I felt sympathy for those trapped and left behind but there was nothing I could do. I could only look for my bondmate while eluding capture.
As I turned my back on the sun setting over the facility I had just escaped, I hoped that someday all of us would be free to search without any worries. It had been a long time since I had escaped, roughly two months I judged by human standards. I sighed to myself. No single town I had passed near had contained my bondmate. At the moment I was traveling through a mountain pass. I had paused at the side of a mountain pass to lick at my coat and paws. They were ragged and while it wasn't unhealthy and I did take a dip in a stream every once in awhile to get clean, it still left me feeling disgruntled. I liked to be neat.
Suddenly I stopped, my head whipping up. No, I hadn't been mistaken! I started to lope towards the smell. I stopped at the sight of him, and he looked surprised as well. For a few seconds we stood there staring at each other. I decided to break the silence. "Hello. Are you all alone out here?" I asked in our tongue.
He shook his head. "No, my Kita is with me. You look tired. Would you care to rest? It is safe."
I paused, contemplating this. I had never thought I would meet another Zver, much less one who had found their bondmate. Though if I had escaped, I suppose it was possible others had too. Still I hesitated Then my stomach reminded me it was hungry, my throat reminded me it was dry, and my paws reminded me they were tired. I smiled and nodded. "If that would be alright with you, yes, it would be nice."
He turned and motioned me to follow. I did, and as we got closer I knew why they lived undetected by the scientists. They were closed in a remote mountain pass, and the terrain was rough. No one would think to search back here. Even so, it was beautiful, and my sensitive ear could hear plenty of wildlife to hunt and my nose could detect plenty of vegetation I had determined edible to the humans. It was a good place to call home, and I felt just a tinge of remorse that I would not be able to stay very long. I knew before long I would have to continue my search for my own bondmate.
Almost a week in human time had passed since I first met Sintog, but it felt as if I had been with them for much longer. Kita had named me Amira, a name I instantly loved and had decided to continue using. I lay lounging in a corner, a smile on my face as I watch Sintog and Kita interact. They were truly bonded, so close that Kita had developed the ability to "read" Sintog, knowing the point he was trying to make by simply assessing his body language. I hadn't really picked up the knack for it, and much preferred to converse with him in our own tongue - no matter how he explained it I couldn't understand. It seemed only a language they two could comprehend. At the moment they were wrestling, almost like two pups. Sintog and I had become very close, and I admired and liked Kita as well, and therefore I lingered, finding it easy to be persuaded by the two to stay just "one more night". As I watched them, I felt a yearning for my own bondmate. I wish I could find you. I cast the thought into the air, though I knew the chances of another human being near were remote. It was just a way to ease the sudden sadness in my heart. It was only after a few seconds I noticed that the cave had gone quiet. I looked over to Sintog and Kita. Kita was staring at me very strangely, and Sintog was looking between us, and even though I could not read his language as Kita could, I knew he was worried something was wrong. Kita opened her mouth, then closed it, then seemed to decide something before she opened it once again, and this time she asked, "Did you...just say something to me?"
I stared at her, hope and disbelief mingling in my heart. I decided to try again, though my brain was telling me it couldn't possibly be. No human could be a bondmate for two Zvers...could they? Kita, can you...hear me? If so, think back at me, I need to see something. It doesn't matter what, just think anything. And then I held my breathe. Then suddenly, the words I heard in my mind shook me. I couldn't believe this was happening.
I can hear you.
I started to shake a little, from relief and joy. My quest was finally over. Not only that, I didn't have to leave my friend Sintog, or Kita. Better yet, Kita was the bondmate for both Sintog and I. We three could stay together, and the days would continue on like this week, the happiest time of my life. Then I saw poor Sintog looking even more agitated as he grew concerned over my shaking. In our tongue I explained. "Kita is my bondmate too Sintog. I don't have to leave. We can stay together forever." I explained the same to Kita, since she looked puzzled as well. I know you are my bondmate because I can only talk like this to my bondmate, I ended.
Sintog stood up and walked over, then touched his nose to mine, causing me to close my eyes in surprise and happiness.

Her PersonalityHumble wrote:not proud or haughty; not arrogant or assertive
Amira does not put on airs, she is typically quiet and in the background. She does not take expansive credit for things she does well and if possible, gives credit to someone else. She has a well-established self-esteem but does not have an inflated ego. She is able to walk to fine line between humility and a feeling of low self-worth.Affectionate wrote:1: having affection or warm regard; loving <affectionate friends>
2: motivated by affection; tender <affectionate care>
Kind, warm, and loving to her friends and understanding to all. She helps out whoever she can wherever she can. She likes to be with others and though she is normally a quiet member of the group, they know if she were to go missing. She will often lean up against another member of her group, just for the sake of the touch. Touch is important to her, it is part of what makes her feel secure in her bonds with a group. Those who are important to her know this about her, and they support it. She is very caring for others and has a strong sense of compassion.Elegant wrote:1: marked by elegance
2: of a high grade or quality; splendid
Amira is what would be considered a form of royalty, she is higher-bred then most. This has allowed her to develop telepathy. However, this also gives her a regal bearing. She carries herself well and those who watch her move and talk almost can't help but smile. She moves with what might be called a liquid grace. She carries herself well and keeps her posture. Her body language is always open and receptive, she has a very open mind. People find her easy to talk to, and a pleasure to be around. Being around her makes you want to act a little nicer, be a little more cheerful, sit a little straighter. It seems she just in general makes people feel better.Faithful wrote:1: steadfast in affection or allegiance; loyal
2: firm in adherence to promises or in observance of duty; conscientious
She always tries to stay true to her word, never deliberately breaking a trust or promise. She is often the one whom people come to when they need to talk, and she holds her confidences. She is trusted and trustworthy. She adheres steadfastly to those ideals she has chosen to adopt. She has a strong feeling of allegiance to her friends and family and the word betrayal least a bad taste in her mouth.Level-Headed wrote:having or showing sound judgment; sensible
Though it is rare for her to get in a fight, she always remains cool in the midst of one. She is the one to mediate a dispute if her friends fight. In a crisis she can remain calm and think. She is very intelligent and knows how to take time to think as well as think on her feet. This is probably how she was able to escape on her own.Big Five Personality Test wrote:http://www.outofservice.com/bigfive/results/?oR=0.8&cR=0.833&eR=0.406&aR=0.944&nR=0.094&y=2000&g=f

Name: Haunted
Reason you want it: I actually didn't think you'd do this particular design, I was overjoyed when I found out you had brought it to life. I love how the paleness of his eyes go with the darkness of his coat, they work well together, the streaks of mist are something I noticed as I made the poster they rock!.
What will you do with it if you win?: I will love him forever, he will be added to my character site, I'll put him in my sigge, customs of him will be found and i'll get art of him.
Personality:
Introduction/Story: So it beginsShe walked the sunny streets her summer dress dancing in the breeze, her long hair plaited and a pair of red shoes on her feet, there was a kind smile and a wave for eveyone she passed. Everyone thought she was wonderful, in their eyes she was a perfect angel, everybody thought they knew her.
Her delicate features were twisted into a frown "why must I hide who I am?" She asked a shadowy figure who stood next to her watching the sun slowly sink behind the hills through the large french doors. "Because my dear Amanthae, its simply not the time for your true identity to be revealed yet" the figure replied, with a groan she threw herself onto her bed, "in the meantime I suggest you practice your skills" he said to Amanthae.
She rolled her eyes and pressed a button hidden in the leg of her bedside table, part of the back wall turned round and reaveled a weapon room, Amanthae rose from her bed and got a long slender two handed sword from the wall. It had an ethereal blue glow to it which reflected in her eyes giving them a ghostly look, her shadowy visitor dissapered and Amanthae started a sequence of moves which made her think of the sword as part of her.
She ended the sequence with a neat forward helix flip bringing her sword down in a powerful move she called Haunted Combo, Amanthae straightend up and observed the damage her combo did. There was a large crack in the floor and the wall looked like a spiderweb, a dog emerged from the crack it was pitch black with blazing red eyes and skeleton markings. Amanthae slid her sword into its scabbard across her back and grinned at the dog.
"Skeletor there you are, boy lets go for a walk" Amanthae said brightly, Skeletor wagged his tail and trotted to the french doors and phased through them, she followed him but had to open the doors then shut them again. She hopped up onto the fencing then sprang off, landing neatly on all fours she found Skeletor waiting for her, "thats a good boy" she crooned and walked in the direction of the park.
They arrived at the park and because there were no streetlamps it would have been pitch black except for the moonlight, the minute the moon was covered by a cloud, a white glow appeared from behind a tree and moved quickly toward them. The cloud moved away frm the moon letting its light shine once again, a zver stepped into the moonlight its dark coat had blended perfectly with the darkness of the night. Its eyes were what Amanthae and Skeletor had seen moving toward them at speed, the zver wagged its long cat like tail and jumped up at Amanthae covering her face in affectionate licks.
Somebody
"Jess who is that zver do you know him" I asked my companion "thats #CC6622 we all called him Haunted because of his coat pattern" he replied his expression giving nothing away. The two of us made our way over to Amanthae and I rubbed my body against her legs, "Emerald, Jess what are you guys doing here?" She asked you are our chosen we love you Jess and I thought together. She smiled at the both of us and bobbed own and opened her to Haunted, Jess and I, the three of us happily squished together in her arms we were home.
