so i bought an myo from benjeep shown here and even though it wasnt a trade, does it fall under the same rules? would i be on “trade” cooldown now? sorry its all so confusing ;;u;;

You can either PM artists directly to ask about HM customs, or post on the FC!
(Though I'd recommend PMing, as the fanclub moves along pretty fast at times.)
A lot of artists have statuses in their signature/profile saying if they're open for HM customs/MYOs/etc, so I'd suggest checking there before PMing!
(As far as I know, I think Fawn and Sixbane are both open for HM customs, albeit with a waitlist?)

Purchases and gifting do not fall under the trading cooldown. ^^

You may not combine MYOs, as stated here previously:

MYOs cannot be combined! An individual MYO can be upgraded through the store if originally purchased from there, but you cannot combine two or more MYOs for a higher rarity.

That is fine so long as you don't use the design (including art commissions for them) until they are a real officially approved Kalon! c:

I would say so, since technically the MYO slot has not been turned into an official Kalon you are still considered a non-owner of any Kalon that you can use to participate with.
