Welcome to my create me a species contest!

Since I started on ChickenSmoothie and discovered the adoptable oekaki board,
my dream was once to own and organize a species! But sadly,
my oekaki pen pressure does not work no matter what I try. So I decided to host a contest!
I've worked hard, and here I am, hosting my own "create me a species" contest with a nice prize pool (in my opinion!)

Rules:
• Tess' rules apply
• Oekaki rules apply
• be kind to everybody
• the 3 winning entries will be mine,
I can do whatever I want with them
• you may PM me for questions
• the contest is expected to end on june 30th,
but I can extend the end date as much as I want c:
• unfinished entries will not win anyting
(maybe a honorable mention entry, but thats all - except the best entries are "wip" ofc)

But of course, I don't want any species. Here are some ideas/guidelines:

I want (must have!)
➳ Based on cats/fennec foxes/dogs or dragons
➳ cute/fluffy things!
➳ shading and highlighting
➳ color palette including fur, eyes and paw pads
➳ gender and sex identification
➳ clean lines
➳ simple background is enough
➳ adult (and child) lines
➳ seperate layers (just in case c:)
➳ correct anatomy (just in case c:)

I like:
➳ fairy/magical like creatures
➳ cute things
➳ fluffy things
➳ fur (no scales please)
➳ story/lore
(optional, ~HistoricMystery~ voluntarily writes a lore for the winning species)
➳ special ability
➳ special feature (something that lets this species stand out!)
➳ SURPRISE ME!

I don't like:
➳ weird/gruesome/gory/obscene
➳ sloppy lines
➳ 5-minute art

With cute/fluffy things, I mean linearts that look like this:

These species have linearts I really like. I am not talking about the species itself, just about the style of the lineart!

Now to the interesting part, the Prizes

There will be 5 winners, which can choose the prize themself from the showed pets.
The first place will recieve 3 pets, the second and third place 2 pets, the fourth and fifth place will recieve 1 pet.
The first place may choose first and so on. (1 very rare per person!)

The winning entry (first place), will be the one I'll choose for my species.
The artist from the winning entry (first place) has the possibility to become an artist for the species!

If there is a entry I really liked, but the entry didn't make in into the top 5,
I will also nominate "honorable mentioned entry" which will win 1-5C$
(depends on number of honorable mentinoned entries)

As mentioned in the rules, I will keep the winning top 5 species. (honorable mention entries do not count)

You may enter with a non-oekaki entry, but you probably won't win a main prize (top 5) since I am looking for a oekaki-made species, because my pen pressure in oekaki does not work :c
But you could win a honorable mention price!
