Super dumb question but will the CS edit shop ever open back up again..? If so, how long till the reopening?
At this time we have not discussed the CS shop opening again, however it is likely but we do not have any set dates c:

A Kalon is allowed to have two sets of ear maximum.
Sanddollar wrote:Is having a mane allowed? Say, a lion’s mane of sorts (although not actually a lion’s mane, as that would probably be gene splicing. Just a different coloured, fluffier chunk of fur surrounding the neck). If so, under which rarity would it be? I’m guessing that it if were allowed, it’d be under a common longer fur edit, but I want to make sure first.
That would be correct! Kalons are allowed to have this type of mane and does fall under a common fur edit! If you are unsure as to if your specific version of any trait is allowed please feel free to contact a staff member c:
Ocean Plumeria wrote:Can kalons have contacts? (for eyes)
At the time this is not allowed, however we do have an item that allowed for simple color changes like this if you are interested in a more permanent solution to eye color.
fab. wrote:a small question - would it be alright to make simpler refs of your kals, for animation purposes?
(they'd be custom lined, not on offical lines, and obv their oekaki refs would still be used for everything)
none of the edits would be removed, it'd just be a generally easy way to draw markings and such
A ref such as this wouldn't be counted as a reference but more of a separate art piece. So long as you are not claiming the simplified piece as a separate design or a design of your own then it is fine.
plantfood wrote:would a glow that's only visible when an injury occurs be acceptable as rare, or would it then be legendary? like the blood faintly glows already, but it becomes more intense if a part of the kalon's body becomes damaged.
(think of like a glow stick. when it gets cracked, it starts emitting light [this phenomenon is called chemilumenescence btw!])
The trait as described would be considered legendary. As a general rule of thumb the intensity of the glow of a Kalon should not change. However if you want it just to be so that the glow is only visible through the blood of the Kalon and so only present when bleeding or when showing a wound that would be rare.
Cuddlewuffle wrote:once you've won a kalon (from an adopt or re-adoption), is there anywhere where you have to post? like an archive or something? i haven't won any kalons yet, but i've entered a couple of contests and was just curious. sorry if this has been answered elsewhere qwq
If you have won a Kalon through a main page competition or an official Kalon event there is no place that you must post and will automatically be updated when the archive reaches to that point. However if obtaining a Kalon through gifting/trading/or winning a readoption the correct form must be filled out on the
Kalon Archive Update Thread.
