are we allowed to design MYOs for profit? like, if someone is looking for an artist for their MYO?

Yes, you're allowed to do that!
Just to add to this a bit, you're allowed to make custom designs for a user for profit, but you cannot create designs without it being a custom for someone! So you cannot create a few designs and sell those individually, they must be custom made c:

If you buy a standard edit item and use it on a kalons hair would you be able to just change the color and keep the the hair style the same or do you have to also change the hairstyle?
