Introduction

Bionics are a peculiar sort of canine - they're simply robots. Their creator is, of course, myself and perhaps some helpful hands as I see fit. These fellows are adopted out to homes that I believe could possibly use them to their full potential.
What's that? You might ask or possibly did, either way, I shall answer accordingly: they are protectors and guardians, you can set them to watch over your belongings, even to protect your body. Mind you they're awfully useful in this world we found ourselves in (with everything falling to pieces and the constant wars you might find having a large mechanical dog to be of some use, right?)

In order to own one, you should read the instruction manual very, very closely. I am not in charge of any missing fingers, hands, limbs, or faces or maybe even small children if you happened to skim through the manual instead of reading it like any sane person would.

It seems you have come into the ownership of a Bionic! Congratulations! Unless you're not in current ownership of one and are attempting to gain one, then I shall remove my congratulations. So sorry.

If you're trying to obtain one or want to know how to control your beastie, first off you should know some basic things about these lovely doggies.

They're roughly about the size of a great Dane - they're born at this size, or well created to be this size, and this size doesn't vary at all. They're practically cookie cutters creatures save for a few differences in wiring.
They will eat whatever they wish, such as little living creatures that you would rather keep alive. The best diet for these creatures are actually broken light bulbs, old wires, rusted things that are made of metal and you no longer have a wish to have it around anymore. Giving them normal food can work, however, it tends to jam up their system and cause them to rust. That's no fun now, is it?
Speaking of care! These fellows need to sleep when their tail lights begin to dull in color or brightness. When they're sleeping the lights will be turned off, they will remain in this slumber mode as long as they need to be. They feed off of sunlight and rusted bolts to regenerate energy. Moonlight also works, they're rather nice that way, easy keepers.
Programming them can be difficult, lately, some of them seem to be acting up, having their own personalities and the like. Which is simply strange since these creatures were born without genders or personalities, to begin with. This is possibly why I came to call them Bionics, they are starting to act as if they're only partly robotic and not robots entirely! I fear this might be dangerous and should be a bug that needs fixing, however since the Bionic is now in your ownership, it is now your problem and no longer mine!

Some other things to note about them:

They hear via echolocation. Therefore those large ears are used for hearing purposes. As normal ears should be.
Noses are completely useless, they cannot pick up any scents.
Their eyes work as flashlights, lighting up the areas they're in for easy exploring. However the light only goes out for a few inches, this causes the Bionics to use more of their echolocation feature than their sight.
Tail tips are the power monitors, as mentioned above. The light fades if they're weak and glows brighter when they're stronger. It turns off altogether when they're in slumber mode.
Their bodies are heavily armored and almost impossible to pierce, almost impossible. Even robots have their weak points.

Helping Hands

Outside of myself there might be possibly others who were granted the power to create a Bionic (meaning they were giving the blueprints and they have the talent and skill to create them!) These are the current helping hands that can be found creating Bionics and giving them away via an adoption method of some random sorts:

Rules for Ownership

1. Bionics cannot be bred together.
2. Bionics can only have a few small accessories, but never things like hair or clothing.
3. Custom Bionics can only be given away by me and only me at this time.
4. Bionics can be sold but can be gifted by the one who created it.
5. No two Bionics can look alike.

Rules for Existing in the Adoption Center

1. Be polite and keep up your manners.
2. Do not beg, whine, complain, or otherwise cause me or someone else to become irritated or upset.
3. No pointing, screaming, yelling, crying, or anything of the like that might cause a Bionic to enter attack mode.

Rules for Applicationsons

1. Fill out the form completely. Failure to do so will result in the form being disregarded.
2. Make sure you be descriptive when describing the environment that the Bionic will be assigned to. We do not want anyone to end up with missing extremities because things were not programmed correctly.
3. Be sure to incorporate the name of this mechanical species in the other part or your application in a color that will stand out. We need to know that you have thoroughly read the rule to ensure your safety and that or others who may come into contact with these machines.
4. The more effort you put into the application the better your chances will be in owning one of these machines.

Those Who Watch

The TWWs are people who are like the Helping Hands, however, they prove a different use. They tend to the center when I am not here to watch over. Please listen to them.

Q. How do I become a TWW [Mod] or a Helping Hand [Artist]?
A. There will be applications for these positions. They will eventually appear. Eventually.

Q. What is with the main page/the way it's written?
A. It's me merely having fun. I tend to create a world or an air when creating species that can be adopted. So if I come across as rude or strange in the main titles, it's not my real personality. It's just me having fun and creating a character who "owns" the Bionics.

Q. How can I get a Custom Bionic?
A. Customs are gained in different ways. If you are a TWW or a Helping Hand you automatically get a custom Bionic after working for me for a week. If you're neither and still want one, you can gain one via giveaways, raffles, or things of the like.

-The more that is written the better the chances are of the Bionic being built for you.
Having said that, Do Not write 'words' over and over again!
-Doing so will automatically get you blacklisted from getting any Bionic.

Forms do not have to be pretty/filled with images. The winner will be judged according to the character created and not how pretty the extra art was.
