he studies bugs mostly flying insects like butterflies, fireflies and bees and then kinda on the side/ when he's not studying insects, he makes speciality hot chocolates he likes experimenting with it making new flavors and such
What you should know about them;;
Rowan can be very shy sometimes but he is normally very approachable, He is a sweet boy but is very childish at some points, he loves chaseing bugs and being weird and he very outgoing when it comes to making new friends. Rowan has a lot of energy most days and that is usually when he gets up to no good and when you have to watch his every move but even if you do he still slips something past you that he shouldn't have lol

Rowan and Kai met one day in early summer/ late spring when it was warm out and all the animals were coming back. Rowan was looking for bugs as usual but not just any bug he was looking for butterflies. Rowan had caught 3 different species so far and his goal for the day was 5 at least but every time it seemed that once he found a new one it always flew out of reach or something. He was heading into the forest near where he goes to collect bugs when he heard a big yawn like sound. It sounded somewhat familiar but yet a little weird so he approached cautiously. He got a bout 2 or so trees away from where he thought the noise was coming from when he saw this giant tree it was so big but then he heard rustling and saw the leaves moving he hid behind a tree and just watched. After an half an hour or so the thing finally came out it had huge wings and then he realized it was a viscet one with wings. He heard a lot about viscets developing wings but he never actually saw one. Rowan approached cautiously and then spoak, "hello?". The other viscet swong and froze.
"Hi sorry for sneaking up on you I didn't realize anyone lived down here" Rowan finally said after a while of silent staring
"May I ask what's your name?" Asked Rowan
The viscet finally spoke "My name is Kai, who are you and what are you doing here"
"Oh my name is Rowan and I didnt mean to intrude but I was just down here studying the butterflies I reserch bugs on my spare time" answered Rowan
"I would like you to leave" Kai said
"Oh well OK I just need to collect two more butterflies and I will go" replied Rowan
"Well then hurry and leave" Kai grumbled
Well its harder then you think to catch certain butterflies" said Rowan
All of a sudden Rowan got an idea "sense you want me gone and I want butterflies how bout you help me and then I will leave"
Kai looked at Rowan with a squinty face and said "why would you need my help"
"Well you have wings and I don't it would be much easier and faster if you helped me" answered Rowan
"Fine but only because I want you gone" replied Kai and then spreaded his wings and flew into the sky. Rowan ran out to the opening and lifted his bug net into the air and said " you might want to use this" and Kai swooped down and grabbed the next and returned about an half an hour later with a whole net full of butterflies, Rowan just stood in aww he never saw so many different butterflies all at once. Rowan walked up and grabbed the net and thanked Kai. After that day Rowan sneaks down to the forest and leaves some of his famous hot chocolate powder for the winged viscet. Rowan, every once in a while he sees Kai and trys talking to him and now they are sorta friends and Rowan trys every year to become more better of friends but Kai is a hard but to crack but all it will take is time.
