i like the event ideas so far, though honestly we do need to see competitions run to keep a healthy, active economy going. just make sure the events don't get overwhelming is all!

perhaps, though, for a rescue event, a sort of random assignment thing to get players to try out new breeds? like, for example, a player would agree to take on a select number of horses (let’s say two), and they would receive two rescue horses whose breeds would be randomly generated. in that sense you could combine the thoroughbred, draft, brumby, and gaited rescues and distribute equal numbers of each among the participants and hopefully encourage players to branch out a bit. my thought is, at the end (after like a month or something), players could choose to keep their horses or send them back to the rescue for adoption to the public (and receive a small cash bonus, perhaps?).
i’d suggest that if you did this you’d have rescuers do 5ish small tasks (maybe ones that encourage creativity and collaboration? (go on a trail ride with a rescue from another stable, describe your horse’s feed, explain why you chose the discipline you did for your horse, etc.)) to tame/rehabilitate their horses, though i understand that might be difficult considering the sheer amount of work that went into the mustang million.
anyway this is totally just a thought, no idea how viable it is or how many players would really want to participate, feel free to shoot it down or edit as you see fit because my head’s currently about as clear as mud
