Cool, I'm glad to hear it! I was also thinking we could have a pony club event that would be a little more inclusive of other pony breeds and that would have competitive incentives for breeding, training, and raising ponies in the sim, but that will probably be developed later if you all think it'd be a good idea c:

Great! Here are the ideas for events I currently have in store:

Thoroughbred rescue (adoption only)
Warmblood auction (adoption only)
Stock horse auction (adoption only)
Draft rescue (adoption only)
Thoroughbred Makeover (adoption and competition)
Brumby rescue (adoption only)
Pony Club (adoption and competition)
Trail ride (adoption and interaction)
Chincoteague pony auction (adoption only)
Mass rescue (adoption only)

Feel free to ask me about any of the above events or suggest your own ideas! Additionally, for any of the events that are not breed specific, please, please suggest any breeds you'd like to be included in those events and I'll do my best to include them! (Trail riding excepted, because that has its own kind of thing that I'll reveal later c:) Thanks so much for the help! <3

Obviously id like to see few walkers in there, just to break up the breding pool a bit more, as well as some new ,markings/colors in the breed

Even mixed/grade in the stock horses as well as a few pintaloosas

chincoteague ponies could actually bring a lot of color into the rvec gene pool if played right!
i like the event ideas so far, though honestly we do need to see competitions run to keep a healthy, active economy going. just make sure the events don't get overwhelming is all!

Oh, yes, I completely forgot to put it in there! We'll have a TWH/Saddlebred/MFT rescue as well to get some gaited horses in the mix c: I'll definitely throw those other ones in there where they fit!

Yes, certainly, and I want to assure you that these will be happening over a very, very long period of time, so competitions shouldn't get too squashed under everything else we'll have going on! Unfortunately I haven't run them in a while either so I'll need to work on what to do about that c: I'm really looking forward to the Chincoteague Pony one! ^^

forgive me if this is long-winded or nonsensical, seems i got a mild concussion at my cross-country schooling yesterday [jazz hands]

perhaps, though, for a rescue event, a sort of random assignment thing to get players to try out new breeds? like, for example, a player would agree to take on a select number of horses (let’s say two), and they would receive two rescue horses whose breeds would be randomly generated. in that sense you could combine the thoroughbred, draft, brumby, and gaited rescues and distribute equal numbers of each among the participants and hopefully encourage players to branch out a bit. my thought is, at the end (after like a month or something), players could choose to keep their horses or send them back to the rescue for adoption to the public (and receive a small cash bonus, perhaps?).

i’d suggest that if you did this you’d have rescuers do 5ish small tasks (maybe ones that encourage creativity and collaboration? (go on a trail ride with a rescue from another stable, describe your horse’s feed, explain why you chose the discipline you did for your horse, etc.)) to tame/rehabilitate their horses, though i understand that might be difficult considering the sheer amount of work that went into the mustang million.

anyway this is totally just a thought, no idea how viable it is or how many players would really want to participate, feel free to shoot it down or edit as you see fit because my head’s currently about as clear as mud

Yikes, so sorry to hear about your head injury, caf.! Rest easy and I hope you feel better soon c:

I do like that a lot! <3 Perhaps we could do it in two tracks: a mass rescue (in which players are assigned up to three horses of random breeds to raise) and a rescue challenge (which players can opt into after receiving their horse(s) to do the five or so tasks, or perhaps an RP sort of thing all around?) that will have a monetary bonus to anyone who completes it? Just brainstorming here to make sure it's still inclusive of people who may not have time for it but would like to take on a few rescues anyways c: What do you think? I could just as easily see it being one single event, so I'd be curious to see what everyone thinks about this!
