rarities + lore
cloudeer are a newly discovered species who release body heat through evaporation of water. it is important to keep them well hydrated, as they lose their clouds/vapors when they don't have enough water! it's also very harmful to their health.
depending on their environment, they can have either dense or light clouds! this is because of to water nearby and climate. for the most part, though, they can be found in elfin forests. since those forests tend to have frequent/constant fog, their clouds also act as a kind of camouflage.
cloudeer are very sociable and tend to travel in herds of up to 20! they usually find their herd based on their personality. on occasion, though, differing personalities will attract.
they are very smart! how smart? a little more than crows (who are very intelligent). they can recognize patterns quickly and are very clever indeed. they have thrived because of their wits, and can be found around the planet.
