Tracker Dog #33 I Available until March 31st
Gender: Female
A Tracker that'd be well fit for tropical climates. Originally made to patrol the borders of reserves and stop poachers, yet she can do more than that. She's exceptionally good at seperating friend from foe, even if both carry weapons. Although she looks very fuzzy, her coat isn't actually that thick, and she won't overheat too easily when running while it's hot outside. She does like to sit in the shade during a break, though.
Design was suggested by my friend, she helped me create this one.
Tracker Dog Application Series 11
Username: PerrythePlatypus
Tracker Dog you want: #33
Name you'll give it: Bakota
Reason why you want it: I have personally been in love with your tracker dogs for awhile but every time I tried to get one, I either just missed the cut off date, or the one I wanted was already chosen. I have been waiting for this new series and as soon as I saw her I fell in love all over again. Her colors blend very well together, and the leopard pattern just makes her so unique. As soon as I saw her a million ideas filled my mind. She's more then just a bunch of pixels you can use for a signature, she's inspiration for characters, stories, ideas, and she can be a friend to my many characters that I have sitting in my mind waiting for a chance to be written down on paper.
Will is be used in any kind of story? For right now I'm involved in a few shape-shifter roleplays, and I have been waiting for something to give me an idea for a one of a kind shifter, something that was out of the ordinary, unique, amazing, all these different things that would set them apart from the rest of the roleplaying community, and this girl is definitely what I have been searching for. I have also always wanted to write a story of my own, and though I respect you and your art too much to copy your hard work by the book, your characters give me enough muse to start writing my own, and I thank you oh so much for taking away my writer's block(:
Describe its personality: Bakota is a kind-hearted tracker, though she takes her job very seriously. She's used by an organization in Africa who have sectioned off a part of the savanna for animals that are in danger of being killed by humans. Sometimes the humans who protect the animals need to take the animals to a secret place in order to make sure their vitals are normal and that they are getting enough amounts of nutrition; basically making sure that they are healthy enough to survive in the wild. Every once in awhile these animals need to stay in captivity until they are well enough to go back out into the wild, and Bakota helps the animals transition. She stays in the cage with them on the ride back to the savanna, and stays with them for about a day before leaving to go back to the camp the humans set up. Outside of the job, she's very playful, loyal, and she loves to be around people. She's about the size of a Great Dane, and even with that size she feels the need to be a lap dog. The animals and the people she work with fall in love with her instantly, and she's a part of them for the rest of their lives.
Write an introduction for your Tracker: Lighting and thunder filled the night sky as rain poured down from the clouds above. Our tent shook violently from the harsh winds that demanded attention from us, though there was nothing we could do. Our small camp contained only three tents with two people in each. We were waiting for Bakota to come back after helping the two Cheetah cubs we had saved the other day find their mother. I ran a hand through my blonde hair as my hazel eyes remained focused on the flap of the tent. I jumped slightly as I felt the hand of my research partner, Ryan, place itself on my shoulder. I turned around and glanced at him before letting my gaze drop to my folded hands in my lap.
"She's coming back, don't worry."
I simply nodded in response, seeing as I couldn't find the words to give him anything more. It had been a few hours since we had let the cubs go from the cage, leaving Bakota in charge of them. I knew it was usually a day before she came back to us, but under these conditions, she would have come back by now. I decided that it wasn't healthy to just sit here like this, so I got up from my spot by the door and started getting ready to go to sleep. I started unrolling my nap sack and my sleeping bag, pulling my pajamas out and getting ready to change when I heard a bark break through the wind. My gaze fell back to the door as I faced it now, my body trembling slightly, both from cold and anxiety. Within a few seconds Bakota broke through the tent and charged into my arms. I laughed as she knocked me to the ground, her tongue running over my cheeks. After a few moments I pushed her off of me and sat up, my fingers scratching her behind the ear.
"That's my girl."
After celebrating with her and Ryan for a couple minutes, we all yawned and decided that it was time for bed. With all of us in our warm clothes, I slipped into my sleeping bag and slung an arm over Bakota, letting my body curl up to hers as we fell asleep listening to the storm outside.

I really hope that you like my form. I would love to be chosen as the owner for this Tracker. She would make a lovely addition the family of characters I am making. I will love her forever and always(:
