Kalons-- a species with soft manes and even softer hearts.

Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals
have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sapient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

Their shining tails are used for identification and showing off,
which is helpful when spotting another Kalon from afar. This
association with other Kalons is why they are head-over-heels
for any shiny or colorful item that they come across!

Edits:

Non-rarity: Expression edit, coloured sclera, weight edit (skinny.)
Standard: Shine.
Common: Tail, longer fur.
Uncommon: Short fur, ear edit.

NOTE!

They are not blind (though if you'd like you could make them blind...?)
The tip of the tail has a natural curl, like a Carolina dog or an Azawakh.
The shine is symmetrical/split down the middle.

-You cannot just pull an image off of the internet; you have to draw/commission a piece with the Kalon having the hairstyle itself.
-The haircut can only have colours from the provided palette.
-The hair can be standard or common, but overall cannot fall beyond the belly.

Writing: From a young age, Ere was always determined to be in the army when she got older. She would watch shows where it would show people wanting to join the army going through boot camp. They would inspire her to work her hardest, and she would often try and mimic the workouts and exercises. Of course, she would fail completely because she was just a tiny 6 year old, but it didn't stop her from trying. As she got older she started getting more interested in flight and decided to take flight lessons when she was about 14. Her first few flights were incredibly rough, but after a few weeks she started to get the hang of it and improved rapidly. She started taking ground school when she turned 16 and devoted the majority of her time to study the content she was learning there. She passed the exam, and shortly after got her piolet's license. For her 18th birthday, her parents had managed to save up enough money to buy her her own plane, a Cessna 172. Ere cherished this plane and would take it for flights whenever she had free time. For college, she was lucky enough to get into the Air Force Academy. She was incredibly happy and worked her hardest to get good grades. After graduation, she joined the Air Force, and her dream finally came true. She keeps her hair in a short bob so it can fit into her helmet, but still look great.

glass blowing. She loves the
way glass glows when heated
and the interesting shapes
that she can create from it.
Her home and workshop is
located near a beach so that
she can get as much sand to
make glass as possible. She
has to be sneaky though,
since the lifeguards keep
yelling at her to buy her
own sand. Her response
to that is usually to grab
another handful of sand
while making direct eye
contact with whoever
tells her to stop.
