- - SPECIES INFORMATION


Piplin's are a sapient canine like creature that consist of certain unique features from other species. The excessive decorative hair located behind the ears as well as along the back and haunches is similar to what we see on sea slugs. The fur texture on these parts is soft but heavily dense and damp due to slime secretions, and this is to help evade from predators and slippery situations. Piplin's tails, typically long and floppy like a salamander however surprisingly able to grip things, is also a unique trait to the species. Their height varies from around 2 feet - 4 feet from ground to shoulder, and are surprisingly very heavy when picked up.

Slime is secreted through glands located on various parts of the body. These glands are most consisted in places with excessive fur, cheeks, and tails. These secretions are translucent and their main purpose is to keep the skin moistened as well as a tactic to get away from danger. There is a second type of slime that is produced in sacs deep in the back of a Piplin's throat. These glands produce that colorful poisonous thick slime that is well associated with this species.

Their diet consisted of mostly grubs, berries, and small animals. Mostly active during dawn and dusk and typically sleep in the sun to warm up or in dark damp places to cool down due to poor body heat regulation. Piplin's communicate through chirps and loud "pip" noises, hence how their species was named.

Legendary: wings, abilities, multiple sets of horns, multiple halos, scales or other mutations

Token's are apart an award system that are given out to members of the community by staff members. A user may receive a token by being recognized by an artist for a good form in a competition and/or by helping out within the community. Once enough tokens are accumulated, you can turn them into the token shop for a semi-custom or for edits for your already existing Piplin's.

10 Tokens → Semi-Custom Standard
15 Tokens → Semi-Custom Common

Scientist 1: First question - no, cause they're moist, second question - I smashed together slugs, puppers, salamanders, and a touchhhhh of poisonous slime
Scientist 2: .....okay can't lie but that's sounds pretty cool but why?
Scientist 1: *stares at camera* for the science...for discovery...but mostly for the moistness
Scientist 2: dear lord just emphasizing the worst moist
Scientist 1: finnnee. party pooper.
Scientist 2: okkaayyy but we can't just call them moist puppers. What other names do you got in mind?
Scientist 1: either Slups or Piplin's
Scientist 2: ...let's just go with Piplin's and call it a day
