Splash tends to be less jagged, but it looks good. It also always effects the face in a bottom-heavy fashion.
The dapples on the gray look very uniform and regular, like a pattern tool was used. See if you can make the dapples without the use of a pattern tool so that it looks more natural. The base color of the gray looks great!
