Tracker Dog You Want: #32
Name You'll Give It: Bella Noche
Name Details: Bella Noche translates into "Beautiful Night" in Spanish.
Nicknames: Bella, Night, Beauty, Beautiful, #32
Reason Why You Want It: Oh, where do I start? I've been lurking around on this thread for some time now, and occasionally I've wanted to apply for a Tracker, but this gorgeous Aerial Tracker just seems to connect with me, unlike any Tracker before her has every done. Her powerful wings are so trecherously lovely, and the glow of her markings radiate my heart. She will be the perfect companion to my new character (the one used in the introductory story)! This is my first Tracker, and, when the time comes, I plan on adding more to my team!
Will it be used in any kind of story?: If/When a Tracker Dog RP breaks out, I most definately plan on being involved! I'm also looking forward to writing short stories (such as the introduction below) about my Tracker! I love writing and having a Tracker will only cause that love to grow.
What will you do with it?:Love her forever. <3 And, of course, give her her own thread that I will fill with art of her (plus, not to mention I'll put her in my siggy). Bella will be a huge inspiration for numerous stories, and art pieces. As I said, if I obtain her, Bella Noche will be featured in a chain of short stories (such as her introduction below) as well!
Describe It's Personality: BELLA :: BEAUTIFUL Bella is a swift and cunning Tracker, who only lives to assist and protect her owner, Gloria... As well as be her owner's best friend. To her Gloria, Bella is the greatest companion that ever was. She is a very warm-hearted dog, who will not hesitate to place her life on the line for whoever dares to care about her. Because of this, she is also quite a courageous, brave Tracker. Bella was never the kind of Tracker who took well to being locked away in a cage half her life, especially because of her longing to be in the air, or out on the field.
NOCHE :: NIGHT She is an angel, a guardian to her owner. Yet, Bella is also a demon to those that dare mess with her. She is not afraid to bite (
hard), and it will take quite some time for her to gain the trust of another human or Tracker. She sees her owner, almost, like a lover, and untill the day she dies Bella will continue to destroy anything and anyone that poses a threat to Gloria.
Likes:Gloria Towle (Owner) ~ Bella sees Gloria as a partner, and companion for life. Glora feels exactly the same about her. <3
Flying ~ Being an Aerial Tracker, flight comes naturally to Bella Noche, and she absolutely loves it, and everything about it.
Going with Gloria to work ~ Bella enjoys even the slightest amount of time she can spend with Gloria (which is, uh, pretty much 24/7), and going to work with her is no exception. Whether she is slyly sniffing out a bomb out in the field, or just relaxing back at
Gloria's office as she decodes ancient lettering, Bella loves it.
Twinkies ~ Bella Noche
loves Twinkies. <3 Back in the lab, all Bella could eat was meat, and nutrition supplements, but ever scince Gloria gave her half of a Twinkie as a treat for completing a mission, she was head over heels! XP Obviously, however, Gloria only gifts Bella Noche with one or two as a reward for completing a hard mission. Twinkies aren't the healthiest things. XP
Dislikes:People who touch Gloria ~ To Bella, nobody can be trusted. Everyone back at the F.B.I. knows not to mess with Gloria, or even shake hands with her if they don't want to hear Bella Noche's blood-curdling growl.
People who yell at her or Gloria ~ Bella always sees a raised voice as a sign of rage, and she sees rage as a threat. Yes, she is a bit of a drama queen, but we love her. <3
Fully enclosed spaces (Kennels, small rooms, etc.) ~ Bella Noche always hated the tiny kennel she was crammed into as a pup, and ever scince she was adopted by Gloria she's steered clear of anything that prevented escape.
Pools/Lakes/Oceans/etc. ~ Because her large, muscular wings cause a drag, Bella is definately not hydrodynamic, and she doesn't move well in the water. She can keep herself afloat if she needs to just fine, but she doesn't feel comfortable in the water because of her lack of freedom. She is perfectly fine with bathing, or being hosed down on a hot day, but swimming is definately not something she adores.
Strengths: Fighting ~ Do
not let her stunning appearence fool you, Bella Noche definately packs a punch! She is strong, smart, and imaginative, giving her the upper hand in most violent situations.
Flying ~ Being an Aerial Tracker, Bella has a huge advantage in being able to fly. She has the ability to swoop down from above, have a birds eye view, and soar with Gloria on her back when a sticky situation calls for it.
Weaknesses:Water/Swimming ~ As stated earlier, Bella Noche is very uncomfortable in water, at least when she actually has to swim. Her bulky wings add a drag, completely cancelling out any possible hydrodynamics, which results in one unhappy Tracker.
Running ~ Of course Bella can run, but certainly not very fast. Similar to her water weakness above, Bella's wings do not fold very neatly, and it takes a lot of muscle to hold her wings up while running at high speeds (which she usually doesn't even get to).
Height:30 inches at the shoulder (not including wings).
Weight:130 pounds.
Relashionship Status:N.L.F.M. (Not Looking For Mate)
Art?:viewtopic.php?f=30&t=500842Write an introduction for your Tracker: My day had finally come! The day the F.B.I. informed me that I was qualified to adopt a Tracker Dog, to have as my own.
I was a field agent for the F.B.I. My specialty, however, wasn't in the field. I was hired, originally, to decypher everything from ancient hyroglyphs, to computer codes. I had a natural skill for this, I was the best of my kind,
and I loved doing it, but my real passion was in the field, on missions.
My first true field mission was when the F.B.I. got a ransom video from terrorists, who planned to bomb the Washington Square Mall, and all the people in it, if $30,000 in cash wasn't handed over to them. They claimed that the time bomb was already in place, and that it was set for exactly 10 hours. Inside the package with the video tape, were pages of ancient Egyptian lettering that the terrorists claimed instructed us on how to deactivate the bomb. In thirty minutes, I was able to decypher the first scentence, or what I like to call "stanza", while working with hyroglyphics. The pages were, in fact, the real instructions. We suspected that they sent us the instructions because they wanted to occupy us with it. I was given full field gear, and was sent out to decode the bomb's mechanisms. The mission was a success, and from then on I have been working as an field agent for the F.B.I. To this day my job has been becoming increasingly dangerous, and this is why a Tracker was found neccisary for my line of work.
I was greeted at the door of the lab by a tall man. He was wearing classic, button-up lab scrub, and his eyes were sharp and unwelcoming. He motioned for me to step in, and I, somewhat hesitantly, inched into the Tracker Dog training facility. The hallways were lined in kennels, each containing a unique creature. My eyes opened wide as I slowly examined each Tracker, reading their information and asked frequient questions about each one to the intimidating man, my fear of him vanishing as my mind was clouded by the beauty and intelligence of the animals before me. Some of them growled at me as I approached, as if to say that I wasn't the owner for them. Others simply ignored my hand as I attempted to catch their attention. I raised a brow, and sighed, as my attempts to find the right Tracker grew futile. Suspecting that the other Tracker's would all react the same, I turned to leave.
"Thank you, sir, but I think I should check elsewhere for-". My voice was interrupted by a soft whimper. I looked behind me to see an Aerial Tracker, whose wings seemed to glow on and off as she whinned. Without speaking a word, I started walking slowly towards the beautiful animal, and once I reached her kennel (which was larger, because she was an Aerial), I knelt down to her head level. She was larger then all the others, and more stunning, as well! Her greenish-blue markings glowed, as she wagged her tail and licked my hand as I placed it onto the bars of her cage. I jumped with shock as the man who let me in spoke.
"'M surprised she's acting this nice. She'll usually skip straight to the bitin'." He murmured in a gruff, almost emotionless tone. "Then again, all Tracker's act that way untill they choose their owner..." I cocked my head, slightly, keeping my eyes on the Tracker. What did the man mean by "choose their owner"? The Tracker immitated me, cocking it's head as I did mine. She saw that I was confused, and placed her paws onto the cage bars, licking my hand frantically to get my attention back again. I smiled faintly at her, and admired her beauty. I placed my hand gently onto her paw (or, at least, onto the bars seperating her paw from my hand), and knew that this was the Tracker for me.
"Sir, this is the one." I said, confidently, smiling at the Tracker. She clearly understood, as she was licking me and wagging her tail as frantically as possible. The man let out a rough chuckle, and dissapeared into a room. He shortly returned with a clipboard. He asked me to fill out all the information I could. It didn't take long to get everything cleared up, but one question stopped me in my tracks. What was this Tracker's name? Briefly I examined her. She wasso sleek, and her wings were so intimidatingly majestic. "Bella Noche. Beautiful Night." I said softly, to my new Tracker. She wagged her tail in response, as if to expres her love for her new name.
I filled out the last of the form and it was official. The man gave a smug smile, and unlocked the cage seperating Bella Noche from me. As soon as the kennel bars swung apart, the overjoyed tracker threw herself onto me, licking me with her warm, wet tongue. I stroked her long snout, and clipped on a black collar that the F.B.I. had assigned to me earlier that day. It had a G.P.S. built into it, so that, using a hand-held moniter, I could always keep track of my Bella. The man pulled out a greenish-teal colored tag from his scrub pocket.
"If you want, I can engrave this for you, Miss Towle." He said, in the tone I was now quite farmiliar with. I smiled, and thought back on when my old dog had paraded along with jingly tags just like the one the man was holding before me.
"Sure. I, well, I'd like that." I said once more, knowing that the tag was obviously unneccisary but was a very sweet memory of the old days. The man nodded, and headed back into a small room. He stopped mid-way, and looked back at me.
"By the way, my name is not 'sir'. It's Dr. Mileston Jynes." He said, his voice a little less scruffly. I nodded, and smiled wide at my Tracker, as Dr. Mileston proceeded back into the room.
"My Tracker... She's really mine..." I said to myself, in a hushed tone, as my heart overflowed with the pleasure that came with my new partner for life.
[Sorry, I know I put a little too much backstory into the human character. ^_^; But I plan on turning this into a series of short stories (if I end up with the Tracker), this being the first, so the backstory was kind of neccisary. >_<; This is only a semi-WIP. I might add little bits and pieces to the form, but everything is overall complete. ^_^; I know I'm not the most epic, totally perfect person applying for this beauty, but I hope you consider my application! ]
