You take out your hand for the dog to sniff. and the dog sniffed it. wagging its tail. and barked to you "Im pearl by the way" as someone called out her name. "Pearl! Where are you?!" "Im here!" she barked to her owner. "You worried me!" the human told pearl. "Im sorry about that." she apologized.

You asked her if you can adopt one. and she nods. "Of course you can! follow me." she spoke to you and walked through the entrance. you followed, then the girl looked back to see if you were coming...
