you wake up one morning, surprised that there are no gummy rats bouncing on your bed. you look all around your house,
but they are nowhere to be seen. you pass the window, but pause and go back to look out of it. you see a large group of rats outside the door. you smile in relief. they look at you and frown, waving their paws. bubblegum jumps on the windowsill. "this was a very hard decision, but we are leaving. it had nothing to do with you. we just saw that you were busy with things. we may return one day,
or you can visit us. we will be venturing back into the woods, to settle close to where you found us. goodbye. we will miss you."
she said, wiping a tear. she jumped off and marched forward, and you notice all the rats are holding a small bag full of things to remember you.
