His lips crooked downwards in a frown, eyebrows creased downwards like he was
annoyed. Which he was. Behind his annoyance had been years of pain, behind
every sharp word centuries of torment. Gabe was never the most care-free or
optimistic guy. For as long as he can remember, he has been known for his
sarcastic comebacks and cynisism. He tends to distance himself from other
people too, with his closest friend being Julian, and even then he still
occasionally distances himself from Julian. But despite that frown, Gabe is

hardly shows it. Gabe loves animals too. He even has a little brown dove

Use of the horn. Every Centaur is gifted with a special magical ability,
for Gabe it is his ability to grow plants and flowers. Gabe used to grow
bushes and fields of flowers for Eddie to play in but Gabe now uses
his connection with nature to help the environment in which he cares
deeply for.
Meaning of the cross. the cross when turned upside down symbolises
humanism and Gabe wears it as a choker around his neck perhaps as a protest
against the hate that he sees in the world today.
Love for nature. Gabe is the typical angsty person who seems to think
of the world as full of hate and does nothing but wallow in self-pity, anger and
regret. But Gabe actually does not totally hate life. He may still live in shame
and anger at himself and there may be days that are not too great for him
but he tries as much as he can to help others especially nature. He always
loved plants and animals. He always seemed at peace whenever he was in
nature whether it was petting animals or strolling in the woods. Nature
has done a lot to help him feel better when the days are not too
great and he is eternally grateful for the unconditional love nature has
given him so he hopes to repay the favour by caring for nature.

to love him for all his flaws yet. Gabe loves to daydream as well as
write poetry about his unknown future lover but isn't really too caught up
in trying to find love for now.

Gabe's secret.
Gabe watched silently from afar as Eddie ran through the
flower field he had grown for the boy, his hands stretched
out from his sides as his fingertips brushed the top of the
grass and wild flowers that had grown to reach the height
of his waist. Gabe had to purse his lips to stifle a giggle
when Eddie tumbled over and started rolling over the
flowers, chuckling as he went. Gabe would never have
expected that what started out as simply a move to try to
impress his family, had turned out surprisingly... well.
His parents never seemed to care about him too much.
They were mostly busy praising his younger siblings to
pay any attention to him. Gabe was not surprised at all
when they decided to chide him for not having the same
achievements, the same aspirations, the same drive.
Maybe sad and angry, but he was never surprised.
They called him useless, good for nothing, a waste.
But when he stumbled across a dying widow and her
baby, Gabe knew it was his chance to prove to his family
that he wasn't a complete waste. So he promised the
dying widow, he promised to take care of her son.
Gabe smiled as Eddie picked up a daisy, bringing it to his
nose. He smiled as he watched the little boy whiff up its
sweet aroma, the young child's eyes sparkling with joy
and a grin plastered on his rosy face. The boy sure loves
his flowers. Gabe had grown fond of the young boy.
His energy and cheeriness seemed to light up Gabe's life a
little. For a moment, Gabe let his eyes wander around the
forest they stood in, breathing in the fresh smell of spring,
gazing up at the trees that to were above them, and the
light that seemed to peak out of the branches.
For the first time he felt at peace and he owed it to Eddie.
Gabe definitely did not expect barks and growls to
disturb the peace.
He could hardly remember what happened. One moment
he was scrambling onto his hooves and the next he saw
flurries of dark brownish grey fur, teeth and claws as he
scrambled away from the large and fearsome creatures.
Dire wolves.
Gabe knew he had to make it as fast as he could out of the
woods so as he finally regained his balance, he bolted away,
galloping as branches and leaves hit him in the face, daring
not to look back in fear of getting eaten alive. Heart still
pounding and his head dizzy from fear, he had made it out
of the woods... except that Eddie wasn't with him.
"Eddie!" Gabe cried out. A moment of selfishness and he had
risked the life he had promised to protect in the first place.
A cry pierced through the air, Gabe couldn't make out what it
was saying but he knew it had belonged to Eddie's. And he ran
forth back through the forest, not caring as the brambles
scratched at his skin. He had to save Eddie, not for the sake
of keeping his reputation, but for the promise he had given to
Eddie to give him a better life. But it was too late. Gabe
watched as the dire wolves dragged the tiny boy away, he
couldn't even make out the shape of him. He wanted to rush
forward, to pit himself against the wolves, to risk his life for
Eddie but they seemed to disappear into the trees leaving no
trace with only the flowers that Eddie had picked from before
and guilt, sadness and anger that pricked Gabe's heart.
He has never told anyone about Eddie.

Relationships.
Julian. Gabe has a love-hate relationship with Julian. He hardly talks to
anyone else and Julian seems to be the only one who tolerates his dark poetry and
sacarstic monologues. Afterall Julian himself seems to be a troublemaker who only
ever cares about playing pranks rather than what dark thoughts seemed to be running
through Gabe's mind. And despite the annoying pranks and insensitive jokes that Julian
occasionally makes, he's a pretty loyal friend and does actually listen to Gabe's
problems. Julian may drive Gabe mad sometimes, but Gabe's glad that he has a friend
who cares about him.

his "buddy" instead of "pet" as he thinks that all animals should be treated equally.
Gabe found Gizmo in forest when he was visiting the flower field where he had lost
Eddie. Back then, Gizmo was just a baby who had fallen out of its nest during a storm
the previous day. Gizmo's nest was completely destroyed and his parents seemed no
where near to be found so Gabe decided to care for Gizmo and the bird has been with
him ever since. Gizmo and Gabe are the best of friends, they are always together and
sometimes to can catch Gabe whispering thimgs to Gizmo from time to time. Gabe loves
Gizmo dearly and Gizmo seems to calm him down. Gabe especially loves how Gizmo
seems to give him unconditional love despite his flaws and Gabe treasures that with all
his heart.

Why I want him.
I only have a few characters so i was looking for more characters that I can develop
on especially since I love writing so much. I came across Gabe and I thought his colours
and overall design was so unique and he's so cute! I can relate to him in a sense that
we're both queer and that even he has to deal with a lot of stuff that life seems to throw
in our faces mercilessly. I usually have a tough time connecting with certain characters
but Gabe seemed to click well with me and I immediately thought of an idea on his
backstory. I'm really excited to work on his development so it'll be an honour to have him!
I love mythical carures a lot and Gabe has a lil' pet bird just like I do in real life! So it'll
be great to be able to have him!
